She looked good, I guess, in that super tight red dress that showed just a bit too much cleavage. "Oh, you're RJ's sister right?" she said as she made her way to the mirror, taking the spot next to me. "It's Kara," I said. She ignored me. She was too busy fixing up her hair and dress. "You don't think this is too short right?" she asked, referring to her dress. "No," I said. But really, she could just wear a towel and it would be less revealing. "Red is Ryder favorite color," she trailed on, now putting on some red lipstick. "He won't be able to resist this," she grinned to herself.

When she stepped out hesitantly, Dante’s jaw dropped so dramatically she almost laughed. “Perfect. Absolutely perfect. If Victor saw you right now, he’d keel over from regret. After getting dressed, she grabbed a curling iron and ran it through her hair.

Kara stood there, leaning casually against the doorframe. My shoulders slumped as I let out a soft, relieved exhale. “Thank the goddess,” I muttered. “Get in here.” She raised a brow but stepped in without question. I shut the door quickly behind her, locking it out of habit. And then I finally looked at her properly. Kara’s outfit hit me like a punch in the guts. Black high-heeled boots that somehow made her legs look even longer, leather pants that clung in all the right places, a snug brown top, and a black leather jacket. She looked dangerous in the best way.
