Coming down from the car, Kiara adjusted her dress and looked at the skyscraper building which was named T & T, an acronym of her father's name (Thomas Thompson). Kiara entered and looked around the mall which was filled with people "Ma'am where are we starting from" Leo asked, when he saw her looking around. Without looking back Kiara muttered"Anywhere"as she walked to a particular store where they sell dresses. When Leo was about to follow her he received a call from the office, Kiara turned her back and waved her hand at him telling him his excuse. Leo bowed slowly and left there to take the call.

“We can’t afford mistakes now. Astra is closer than ever.” Kara moved to the table, spreading out a thin parchment paper that rolled open like a scroll. “We intercepted another scout of hers near the East Alley,” she said. “One of your old outposts. She’s sniffing for blood.” “And she’ll find it,” I said with a thin smile. “Eventually.” “But not ours,” Kara added with a smirk. I smirked back and stood then walked to the edge of the table. “No. Instead, we feed her chaos, fear, and distrust. Three course meal. If you ask, we're generous.”

This left Zaya speechless for a moment as she watched Arash, following his every move. “Come on! If we leave too late, a lot of the goods will be sold out,” said Arash. *** Their original plan to go to a supermarket changed drastically when Zaya remembered a place she’d read about in a guidebook on Izmir. There is a traditional market there, right next to an antiques market as well. Neon signs flickered to life overhead as they strolled toward the sprawling bazaar nearby. The bazaar was a maze of light and noise, a hundred stalls crammed under colorful canopies. Trinkets, jewelry, spices, perfumes—it was overwhelming in the best way. Charlotte moved through it with renewed energy, running her fingers over silk scarves and gold bracelets, laughing at vendors’ enthusiastic pitches. Nathan bought her a string of wooden elephants, claiming they’d bring good luck. “You’ll thank me later when this whole thing is over,” he said. “I’ll thank you when Albert is behind bars,” she replied, though she still smiled.

I just love to be outside, but I think Kara is actually hoping to find a cute guy to give her a lift home afterward. That would be amazing. I snatch it out of the air, turning it over in my hands and dragging the zipper open to see what’s inside. Makeup. “Wow, he really wants me to go all out, huh?” I chuckle wryly, pulling a tube of mascara out of the pouch. Kara watches me, narrowing her mean little eyes as I drop onto a stool in front of the mirror and rummage through the makeup. “Guess if he has to breed you tonight, he wants you to look halfway decent.”

From one million, it quickly rose to ten to twenty until her eyes almost bulged from its sockets when the auctioneer banged his gavel. “Going once, going twice. And, sold for 100 million dollars!” Kara's chest constricted. So much money just to have her. Who in their right mind would bid for her this much? Kara was jolted from her murky thoughts when her cage moved, and she was wheeled off the stage. Panic rose within her as they drifted past mazes of narrow hallways until they returned to the dressing room from earlier and found the same lady from earlier waiting for her.

It's a fancy boutique and I am afraid to even look at the price tags. "Good afternoon," the shop attendant greets us. "Hello, we are looking for a dress." Lance replies and the woman smiles. She gives me an intent look and nods in acknowledgement. "For her?" She asks,still looking at me and Lance nods. "Do you have a preference?" She asks and Lance turns to me. He raises his brows at me. " What do you like,Kara? " he questions and I shake my head. " You know the type of a party it is so you choose. I know nothing about such fancy parties." I reply.

Mazelina After a couple of hours of exploring this great city, we find ourselves at The Market Place. There’s everything you can think of: fruit, vegetables, so many varieties of meat and fish, sweets, clothing, jewellery, and homewares. Everything looks beautiful, not a stain or speck of dirt or stone out of place. So far, I’ve brought Daria, Alice, and Mom gifts. Maybe I should get something for Rush, for being so lovely, even if this place is strange.

It was almost noon when the sound of a car horn echoed through the Kareem mansion’s gate. Zara and Kemi were still in the living room, scrolling through baby names on Zara’s phone while Regan was upstairs on a business call. Zara looked up when she heard the familiar deep voice calling from the doorway. “Ah, my daughter-in-law! You’re looking more beautiful every day!” Chief Kareem had returned from the office earlier than usual. His driver followed behind, carrying several shopping bags filled with baby items — designer clothes, golden rattles, and soft blankets that looked far too expensive to touch.
