Karlo growled at me as his eyes turned bright yellow. Karlo was trying his best to escape from the trackers but we were doomed. Two more cars blocked our way in front. In the end Karlo had to stop the car and get out. I watched Karlo growling and shifting into a big werewolf as he leapt up at approaching men in black. No, not men, they were vampires. Their eyes were completely black with red pupils glowing like blood. Ten men circled around Karlo and attacked him all together. Karlo was keeping up with one against ten. The woods, once a sanctuary, became a witness to an unspeakable act of violence. Suddenly, a low growl echoed through the night, freezing everyone in place. The men, startled, looked around nervously. Another growl, closer this time, echoing through the darkness. I recognized it instantly—it was the unmistakable growl of a werewolf.
