Karma Wilson Bear Books Novels & Stories

She did it anyway. I knew she’d be proud of what Josh and I had done with the pack, and I knew she’d be looking out for her three beautiful grandpups. Samson decided to stay with us permanently. Bruce comes and goes as he pleases and the whole pack is used to seeing the big brown bear around town. Each night after the kids are all bathed, they rush into the library and sit at Samson’s feet, and listen to stories about elves, pixies, boggarts, and the butt-kicking Grandma who saved a Jade Wolf.

“Do they know who it is?” “No, all he said was bear was with them.” KC told her. Lita thought for a minute. “Bear? Oh, God no, please.” She sighed. “Do you know who this bear is?” Karla asked. “It’s not which bear?” Lita sobbed. “It’s who Bear is, Bear is Grizzly’s…dad.” Lita sadly whispered. “Are you telling me that your father-in-law is helping the Russian pupnap my niece and nephews?” Karla asked with disdain.

He lunged with a snarl that sighed through the clearing, right in Ronan's face. A collision as unimaginable as it was brutal: two bears of violence smashing together with incredible weight and strength and energy. Ronan withdrew his teeth, slashing into Alec's side and twisting, swinging a massive foreleg and slamming Alec down to the ground. Kade and Jax were in motion too. Kade shifted in a flash to his rippling gray wolf before charging in, while Jax stayed human, circling, alert, eyes fixed with intent and waiting his chance. But Luna...still no movement.

Melanie The weight of the world felt heavier than ever on my shoulders as I sat in the war room, surrounded by Oswald and the gifted wolves who had pledged to protect the kingdom. The recent attacks had left us scarred, our forces strained, but the urgency of the situation was undeniable. Maxine and Marcus had grown bolder, their forces multiplying, and we were running out of time. The news of the bear attack on the northern pack had only added to the mounting tension. The kingdom was on the brink of collapse, and I knew, deep in my bones, that if we didn't act quickly, we would lose everything.

Haldir was well protected. He found moss in the cave, made a primitive bed, and fell asleep. Outside, everything was quiet. The storm was gathering on the horizon. The large wolf looked at the sky, he turned and returned to his shelter. A honey-eating bear looked at the deer that was passing through. A deer was running for his life, like he was chased. “What's with you?” the bear asked, lifting his head from the honey. The bear had nerves that were thick as a sailor's rope. Only a few things excited him.

Assistant Bear, visibly distressed, reached out to his colleagues with a desperate plea. The dazed Assistant Panda and Chief Lisun snapped back to reality, their expressions hardening with urgency. Assistant Panda lunged to pull Rara away from Assistant Bear, grabbing her arms with a firm grip. Meanwhile, Chief Lisun, his face set in determination, grasped Rara’s jaw, his fingers digging in as he struggled to pry her mouth from Assistant Bear’s right wrist. Assistant Bear leaned heavily against the cold dungeon wall, sweat pouring down his face. His eyes were locked on Rara, who clamped her teeth onto his wrist with unrelenting force. The pain was excruciating, and he could feel her teeth si

Kyle began to let me know he wouldn’t be certain until later about my suspicions regarding the bears’ use of wolfsbane in some fashion, but one of the aforementioned shifters cut into our conversation, a tremendous risk if you’d asked me. Nevertheless, I was happy I’d let him speak when he meekly stated, “Some of the bears opted to dip their claws in wolfsbane oil shortly before we departed from our land. I know Clarissa was one of those who chose to do so.” My rage reignited, and I spat out, inquiring, “And where is Clarissa?” The murmur of conversation throughout the clearing abruptly cut off, creating a hushed atmosphere as I watched the same male gulp before his gaze followed his peers’.

The moon hung in the sky like a brilliant, oversized flashlight. Lila leaned her forehead against the window pane. It felt cool and soothing. Peering into the illuminated night, she looked out onto the mountain in hopes of spotting Marcus and his pack approaching the castle. She’d had no word from Ben about the rescue Jasper and the werewolves were planning for her, but this would be the prime time for them to do it. She closed her eyes and tried to visualize Jasper in his wolf form as he raced through the woods with the pack, but the pain in her back wouldn’t allow her mind to focus.

Suddenly, the world faded away and I was in a field with wildflowers, and two wolves were laying in the tall grass by my side. *** Sometime during the course of the night, strong arms slid slowly around my waist and then planted a kiss on my neck as he slid in next to me under the covers. "Kalyssa," Elias whispered, pressing his length eagerly against me from behind. "Kalyssa...." I turned over in his arms and his lips pressed hard against mine in a luscious kiss. "Wow," I breathed against his lips. "This is a great wakeup call." I ran my fingers through his blond hair and pulled his lips back down to mine, opening my mouth slightly to take him in.

I never expected any of them to betray me and put the pack’s life in danger. Carson was blinded by greed and he chose to give out such information to our enemies, just for a million dollars. Did he really think our lives were worth only a million dollars? Normally, I wouldn’t punish traitors inside my home, but I had a reason for bringing him to my house. I knew exactly what I was doing. Carson’s voice trembled as he begged for his life. “Please, don’t hurt me. I had no idea what I was doing. I was under a spell.”
