Karpet Untuk Kamar Novels & Stories

And with that he left me to sit by myself in silence. I scanned the living room a couple of times and noticed that the carpet that was on the floor was a bit crooked. Realizing that Kieran was a man of meticulous planning, it didn't make sense how he'd allow the carpet to move to one side more than the other. I crouched over to the floor and looked at the carpet to get a closer view. And it was indeed moving to one side than the other sides. This gave it ridges and bumps underneath the table.

I replied, unable to come up with a better excuse. He took me down the hall and into the small library. It was cozy. Books lined the cherry wood shelves covering every inch of the walls not occupied by the fireplace, a door or a window. On the floor was a thick Persian rug. A few weeks ago Troy had shared that the carpet was a replica of a prayer rug. It was deep red with diamond shaped designs, and what looked like four cups in the very center. There were muted golds, greens, and natural colors as well as black.

She decided it was just a typical exaggeration by an actress. Her rooms astonished her. She had expected them to be large, but not particularly plush. In fact the bedroom, decorated in varying shades of blue, looked large enough for two couples rather than a single female. The deep blue carpet flecked with white was wool, its pile thick and luxurious beneath her feet, and was beautifully complemented by the blue curtains patterned with tiny white flowers. As for the bed, Harriet could hardly believe her eyes at the sight of it.

But I guess it is a better choice than sleeping on the rough surface of the ground. The cottage’s flooring is uncemented; the same goes for the surrounding huts. A mixture of red soil and gravel was spread evenly. It was covered by a green-colored non-woven carpet flooring. It is not really a carpet but an interwoven polyester fiber, but you can still feel the sharp edges of the gravel if you walk barefoot or sleep on it with nothing but a shirt behind your back. It can be slippery, too, if you wear shoes. I couldn’t even imagine how messy it is on rainy days. Anyway.

Keir said as he opened a door and led me into a magnificent room. "For me as well," I murmured as I peered around me. It was a circular room so I assumed he'd brought me into one of the towers. As large as my entire house back in the Human Realm, it had polished wood floors with luxurious silk carpets laid precisely across them. The carpets were woven with intricate designs of cream and silver. A rather poor color choice for something meant to be walked on. They looked as if they'd never seen the sole of a shoe before; lustrous as a pearl.

Now she turned her head, taking in her surroundings, eyes wide. Rich textiles dominated the space: cushions in deep maroon, burnt gold, and royal indigo, embroidered with zari work that caught the light with every shift. A Kashmiri carpet stretched beneath their feet, thick and soft, its patterns telling stories older than the building itself, and it dawned on Bianca that the gentle instruction that came from the young man who had escorted them to leave their footwear outside made perfect sense now. The thought of spoiling the rich, deep carpet was sinful, at the very least.

I push the door open and walk in. The room is decorated in rich blues. The carpet is a deep cobalt blue and the curtains are a shade lighter. In the middle of the room is a very large four poster bed made from a dark solid wood. The bed is also very high. I walk towards the bed to gauge how difficult it would be to get onto it. The mattress is about level with my middle. I would need a step to get onto it.

“Suave, sophisticated and mind-bogglingly sexy? I think that’s expecting a bit much from a floor covering, but let’s see what’s on offer.” Alexei picks up a square of deep maroon wool. He rubs it between his thumb and finger. “This is nice. Soft. You won’t get rug burns when I fuck you on it.” “Too dark,” I critique. “It will make the room look like a cave.” “We’re wolves, Kieran. We like caves.” He drops the maroon and picks up a patterned square of gold and cream with an intricate border. “How about this?” he asks. “Very regal. Very I am the Alpha, wipe your feet or die.”

I have hardly enough time to delight in the commodities I would get my hands on tomorrow, before Tilsbury whisked me up winding stairs. The carpet in the hallway is a dark maroon spotted with navy blue print. The door we stroll past are made of solid dark wood, hopefully blocking out enough sound for me to get sleep tonight. That doesn't seem like an issue, though, considering the fact that I can hear my own footsteps on the plush carpet. Tilsbury finds my room and ushers me in, placing a key in my palm.

The cream-coloured walls felt serene, a perfect canvas for the plush white carpet that sunk luxuriously under my toes. The enormous king-size bed, framed by four opulent posters, practically beckoned with its promise of comfort. A thick, white duvet, as soft and inviting as a summer cloud, cascaded down its sides. At the foot, a throw blanket in a kaleidoscope of geometric patterns added a playful touch.
