Baraka dropped into a low, perfectly balanced fighting stance. His feet were shoulder-width apart, his knees slightly bent, his weight distributed flawlessly between his leading and trailing legs.
"Karate," Baraka announced, his voice snapping with authority. "The art of the empty hand. It teaches us that true power does not come from the fist; it comes from the earth. It is routed through the hips, driven by the legs, and focused into a singular, impenetrable point of impact. It is grounding. It is immovable."
