I didn’t know why, but I suddenly felt worried and walked towards the door, still somewhat groggy. “What’s wrong? What happened?” I asked in surprise. “I’m scared of your mom’s face. I didn’t know she looked so stern. She hasn’t said anything yet, but my legs are shaking. She looks even more intimidating and snobbish than my mom.” I could feel Kate’s trembling hand. She was holding onto my arm, visibly terrified. Kate has trauma from yelling and always stern people because that’s how her father was when they were with her mother. But wait

Kate knew she wasn’t in her room nor the room she occupied in Denzel’s mansion. She could see the outside light, even though her eyes were shut. Her bed was far from the window. She had always hated sleeping near the window. When she was little, she thought a zombie apocalypse would happen and she would be easily attacked from the window. She cried to bed each night when her mother tucked her in, and when she had closed the door, Kate crawled under the bed. The fear accompanied her into her teenage years, and she moved her bed from the window.

Not since he'd woken up from a nightmare in the middle of the night and hadn't gotten a wink of sleep since then from the shock. The violent roaring of his heart in his ears, the fear. The trembling, and then the final shock that tore his heart right out of his chest, through his mouth, everything. It had all felt real. Impulsively,Nick glanced up at Kate and he couldn't help but repress a shiver. Instead of the calm look on her face, all he could see was the look of horrendous fear her saucer wide eyes had held as she lay sprawled amidst the debris she'd once called her home, heart pierced through with a dagger.

She was never afraid of his hates when it came as fire, for that burnt hot and warm fast, and yet she welcomes it. She was deathly afraid of his ice though, Catherine suddenly look at Nathan like he was the monster in her nightmare, Gone was the girl earlier who save Sean, she was now beyond her fear. Sean suddenly fell after the kiss and unconscious behind her. While Catherine was staring at Nathan with fears in her eyes, visible even far from the distance.

“What, you think I’m scared of you?" Kate smiled calmly and leaned down to Elizabeth's face so they could stare each other in the eye. “Try me, Elizabeth, and I’ll tear you apart with my bare hands. I'll beat you up until you can no longer hurt anyone else again," she said in a low voice, but everyone else in the room could hear her words. Fear flashed in Elizabeth's eyes before she could hide it, and she opened her mouth as if to retaliate, but nothing came out. She just lay there, silently staring at Kate.

The Hammonton air kissed their skin when they exited the plane and headed to the airport’s exit to grab their Uber. Kate began babbling to Alex about how she developed a fear of height after she fell from their porch railing to the ground. The height difference wasn’t much but it was enough to scare her from thereon. * * * Aiden paced the length of his office, calling Kate’s number but she wasn’t picking the first few times. He tried again but it wasn’t connecting. It’s already nightfall yet he hadn’t left Brazzers Where could Kate have been?

Barely spare them a second glance as she burnt this entire place to the ground? "I said. Someone. Help." Katharine rushed through her teeth, anger mixing in with the features on her beautiful face. There was a tug at my heart at her tone, but it wasn't sadness, it was fear. Something primal within me wanted to slither away from my own daughter. To lock her up and never look back.

Kate pauses, turning to me, her eyes fearful. "I don't know Aria, I just have this really bad feeling. Like the moment Aiden told me, I just felt this chill come over my body and I was scared that something had happened to you, so I literally legged it." Kate explains sheepishly, her cheeks turning pink when I smile back at how sweet my mates sister was. "Aww Kate, that's sweet," I say nudging my shoulder against hers, my hand reaching out for the door handle to my room.

6 Kate sobbed as she picked up the ripped pieces of her dress, clutching it tightly to her chest. Irritated by herself, she retched vomiting the contents of the food she’d last eaten to the ground. Kate wiped her mouth as she proceeded to dabing her tears away from her cheeks. Kate looked up abruptly as she heard footsteps approaching her room. She moved back on the bed, shivering with fear that it might be Richie. She sighed with relief when she saw that it was just his maidservant.
