Kate POV “I Challenge Katelyn Adams for the Alpha title of the Golden Moon Pack!”. I couldn’t believe what I had heard. It was resonating through my mind, without fully comprehending. Looking into the crowd I wait for the voice to come forward. It’s familiar but with the crowd who jumped up loudly the voice was lost in the crowd.

“Always acting like a saint.” Mr. Rogers didn’t speak. Instead, he shoved his phone in Katherine’s face. “Then explain this,” he growled. Katherine blinked at the screen as she saw a message thread that was sent to her number. The contact name was Katherine ❤️ And the message was: “We’ll share the money like we planned. Come meet me at the usual place, baby. Your love, Myles.” Her entire body went cold. Her knees buckled, and Ariana immediately stepped in to hold her up.

She pulled herself back from the door, her chest rising fast, just as it flung open. She froze as the couple appeared. Ethan stood there, glaring at her with that cruel eyes and smug face. And Amanda, she looked like shit. Tears streaked her face and her eyeliner was ruined. Her lips trembled like she wanted to speak but was scared to do so. Katherine smiled. So bright it reached her eyes and lifted her face. “Hi!” she said in a chirpy voice. Her eyes flicked to Amanda again and dimmed for half a second but she looked away. “Oh dear,” she said.

The kid’s got a way of breaking me down without even trying. “Dad!” he shouted, arms spread wide. I bent down just in time for him to crash into me, his laughter muffled against my jacket. “Careful, champ,” I said, ruffling his hair. “You’re gonna knock me over one of these days.” “You’re strong,” he declared, grinning up at me. “Stronger than Coach.” I grinned back, though my eyes flicked over his shoulder to the figure walking toward us. Katherine. She was dressed casually, which somehow made her look even sharper — fitted jeans, a soft sweater, sunglasses pushed up into her hair. She didn’t smile when she saw me, but there wasn’t that sharp edge in her gaze either. Just… guarded.

"Are you - did I - " "S-sorry for the shock!" Katherine stuttered, then calmed herself with a deep breath. "I'm okay. We're okay. Nothing happened." A nervous laugh fell from her lips as her magic fluctuated stronger than before. Nathaniel swallowed, his mouth suddenly dry, voice hoarse. "Careful with your power. We can't -"

To be honest she found her own outfit to be more decent than others. "Are you perhaps staring at me because I haven't introduced myself yet? I'm Katherine , date of Mr. Parker, the man who is with the guy you came with" She pointed out which made Amara to steal a glance at the three men who were having a conversation on the other side of the hall. "Looks like you are a tough one to deal with huh?" Katherine commented as she noticed Amara's scars on her back by tilting her head a little. Amara just kept silent as she was embarrassed by her own self, and it made the Katherine to let out a small chuckle.

Katherine cried when another slap reached the other side of her face making her stumble backwards. “Let me make myself clear Incase your brainless head is a little slow. Stay the hell away from me, because I might just double the pain I have in store for you!’ Amara spat coldly and pressed a button on her desk. Security came rushing in, “Is there a problem madam?” “Take this trash out!” Amara spat as she walked to sit behind the desk. Katherine's hands balled into fists, “You think this is over! It's far from over?” She screamed as the security team took her out.

A chill of excitement had run down her spine at the prospect of inflicting pain on Madison, and as the words fell from her lips, it almost felt like a dream come true… one she just couldn't wait for. Winking, her lips curled up in a smile at the same time, Katherine thought ruefully about the whole things she’d do to Madison Connor. She couldn't wait to deal with that bitch at all, and surely when she was done with her, the bitch would regret ever crossing her path, Katherine promised within herself.
