"Your brother, i don't know what he wants from that girl but can you imagine the fear she must be feeling around him. Can he heal her trauma... Will he take the responsibility if she takes her life." Alexander stood there stunned as he heard reality from his father. "Fear can damage someone to the core... Even now I see that fear in Anamika's eyes. Whenever I get angry, she fears me... May be she see those monsters in me, after all i am mafia too... I still fear that Anamika will leave me like my sister... She still can't sleep without me even after so many years, she has insomnia. I have seen her waking up with nightmares... Do you have any idea how hard it is to see my love in that conditi

Claimed by My Bully Alpha

Claimed by My Bully Alpha

I could feel the weight of everything I had been holding back, the frustration, the fear, the guilt. “I didn’t mean to make it seem like I thought you’d betray Mom,” I added quickly, my voice barely a whisper. “I was just scared. I didn’t know what to think anymore.” I couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was coming. From that day onwards, I'd been scared to death like never before, that if something happens to Aurora next, I might not survive it either. I was only seventeen, and I didn’t want to die. It felt like the weight of the world was pressing down on me, and no matter how hard I tried to push it away, the fear kept creeping back. I couldn’t even sleep without thinking about

Changing Fate for the Alpha King

Changing Fate for the Alpha King

“ You know and you don’t feel…scared? Or…nervous? ” She leans back, her eyes scanning me as if she is trying to peel back my skin and see what’s under. I shift, my gaze flickering towards the open door. “ The age teaches you many lessons. ” She says, her voice low. “ one of those lessons is more important than the others. Fear does nothing. The nervousness you want to see? It does nothing. Only trying does. My grandson and the rest of the Kings are trying their best. And when the Lycan Kings truly try their best, they don’t fail. Fearing any other outcome will be a betrayal of their determination. Don’t betray them. Have some faith. ”

I too will give this book 10 stars!! It’s an amazing story following Dustin and Elita and their roller coaster journey to love. The entire series is a must read. Our friends from the other 3 books make appearances in this one as the story comes full circle. S.Y. is an amazing aurhor. You’ll love it.

My favorite book from these series. Dustin is what a real king should be. Strong, responsible, protective and so on. But somehow it doesn't seem worthless to be so great no matter what if at the end of the day he is just a lonely man with no one to share his burden. I really hope for a grand finale.

Alpha's Housekeeper

Alpha's Housekeeper

Fearfully. "Brian, I hope Anna is safe. You've arranged tight security for her, haven't you? Yes, Brian, my daughter is safe, right?" My voice was hoarse as fear crawled beneath my skin. The mention of Anna made Brian limp defeatedly. He refused to meet my gaze and burst harder in tears. Tbc…

“Cause she’s…Auri?” He shook his head and put a hand on my shoulder. “Exactly. She’s Auri…and that made her fear all the more. Imagine the secrets she’s kept, the pain she’s hid, the actions she’s had to take. You think she didn’t fear with every glance over her shoulder? Every creak in her house? Every time her kids cried? Thinking that were they here for her? Were they here for them? She was the most afraid out of all of us, Zeke.” His hand squeezed a little tighter. “Because she should have been. We all should fear a little more. It’s what keeps us sharp and what prevents us from make the same mistakes as before.” “Fear shouldn’t define us, Hector.”

Auri had the worst life, but I was happy to read that her mate did not really want to abandon her. I just wish in the end that she would have been put back together. Poor thing also we never talked about her family anymore and wanted to hear about her sisters mate thought for sure it would be Bryan

Luna Tribrid's Chosen Mate

Luna Tribrid's Chosen Mate

Four sharp weapons were aimed right at my body, and one werewolf grabbed my neck with its claws. Do you think I'm scared? Clearly, Grace Annalisa was not afraid at all. Because I had been on the battlefield for a dozen years and had been wounded in many places, I felt very normal and laughed out loud, showing no fear. My first fear was being rejected by Alex. However, now I'm afraid of my triplets' true identities being revealed. Plus, I now have three supernatural powers, so fighting these low-level werewolves won't be difficult.

Sane's Insane

Sane's Insane

"That is why when we look at the dark and claim we see ghosts, it might just be the product of the human mind, right? Our brain manipulates images through fear." The girl jumped off the wall in front of him before grinning. She tiptoed before messing up with his hair. "Funny how you know such things and still get scared of the supernatural." Sane pouted. "Knowledge can't stop fear, Haniel, at least not every time. Like we are all aware, the longer the days we spend alive, the closer we are to our graves, but that awareness and knowledge still don't stop other people from fearing death." Sane peered his head to look at the houses of Nikolaj’s and Edmund’s as they passed by them. "And we can n

she asked quietly, still not making eye contact with me. I could see she was trying to get control over her fear and anxiety. Her heart was racing, and the adrenaline rush she was currently experiencing had her fight-or-flight instincts trying to take her over completely. I looked at her hands, and noticed they were shaking, and I felt my heart pang. She was terrified that I was going to hurt her just like her father and her brother had. She really was that afraid of me.

Loved this book! Wonderful suspense not knowing which way things were turning at times. Only thing I didn't like at times were the POV chapters you pay for that repeated everything from the previous chapter with a couple added thoughts, but some chapters being below the normal price made up for it.

This is truly one of the greatest stories. No gratuitous sex scenes which is s fantastic thing. You are getting to know the characters and their is a plot. You have even left things open to continue on to another book! I hope this continues!

Horror Nights

Horror Nights

They could smell it, taste it in the air, track it across continents. The first year, we lost half the population. Not to the creatures' teeth—to the panic. People ran, and the creatures followed. Fear was a beacon. The calm, the brave, the ones who could still think—they survived. The rest became meat. That's how the anthem started. Fear is a creature's instinct; courage is humanity's anthem. We drilled it into our children. We tattooed it on our arms. We believed that if we could just be brave enough, quiet enough, steady enough, we would survive.

Blood of the forgotten moon

Blood of the forgotten moon

“Why is being interested worse than being afraid?” “Fear is reactive,” Dren said. “Fear builds defenses, maintains distance, and seeks to eliminate the source of the threat as quickly and completely as possible. That’s what drove the purge two centuries ago. That’s what drove every containment effort since.” He looked toward the estate again. “Interest is different. Interest seeks proximity. Interest wants to understand, to study, to find a use for what it has encountered rather than simply destroy it.” “You’re telling me he wants her alive.”
