Ayesha squinted from discomfort as the light in the room suddenly made her head spin. Strangely, she had felt a little better after a good night's rest and a morning at class, but when she started working, the soreness and the headaches started up again. Her throat felt raw, and her tongue heavy. Soon it felt like a pulse was drumming behind her eyes, and working became impossible.

I returned the smile softly before lying down on the bed just as Alex walked to sit in the chair right beside me. "What seems to be the problem, Isabella?" she asked, already beginning to write on her clipboard. My eyes cast over to Alex to see him deep in thought. He wasn't looking my way at all, and it made me wonder what he could be thinking. "I've been feeling nauseous, and right now, I have a pounding headache that just won't go away. Sometimes, I get these dizzy feelings, and I just don't know what's wrong with me," I told her, biting down on my lip as Alex finally looked up at me. He was staring once again, and it made me shift onto my other side.

Afterall it had been two weeks and he was insanely hot, it would be crazy for me to think that another girl had not tried to make him her man. I needed to sort out my feelings. I needed to make sense of everything I had just been through. All the thoughts swirling in my head began to give me a headache. My vision was beginning to blur and I couldn't think straight. I was getting dizzy. Syrus was talking again. He was talking to me but I couldn't make out the words. Everything around me was spinning, my head felt heavy and was getting hard to hold up. My eyelids were fluttering as my body was trying to fall asleep.

I gasped, pressing my hand to my forehead, feeling heat that hadn't been there before. The phone buzzed again, the vibration somehow too loud, drilling into my skull. I reached for it, intending to turn it off completely, but my hand missed. Everything felt wrong suddenly, my body felt too heavy, my thoughts became too slow, like I was moving through syrup. The headache intensified, blinding white pain lancing through my temples, and I fell back against the pillow, unable to hold myself upright. Something was wrong, really wrong, but I couldn't organize my thoughts enough to figure out what.

I woke up with a heavy headache, feeling as if my head was about to explode. It was as if a ton of bricks had been dropped on me overnight, and I couldn't shake off the feeling of foreboding that weighed down on me. I tried to sit up, but the dizziness that hit me was too much to bear, so I lay back down, taking deep breaths to steady myself.

A noise cuts through it. Beep. Then another. Slow. Steady. Wait. I listened for a moment to figure out what the sound was. It feels like my head is too big for the rest of my body. There is a dull, heavy weight behind my eyes that makes it hard to think clearly. I tried to move my hand a little bit to show myself that I can.. My fingers barely moved.

But he stopped right after starting. “Alright, what's wrong?” “Nothing. Why?” “You've been acting weird since I got here. And just now, you weren't...how should I put this...responsive like you normally are. Did I do something wrong?” “No, not at all. I guess I just feel sluggish or tired most of the time. I also feel like throwing up sometimes and there are the occasional headaches but other than that, I'm fine. I guess it's from all the work I need to do.”

Lisa's POV My head felt heavy, heavier than usual as I got up from bed. I rubbed my fingers on my slightly protruding tummy to ease the pain I felt from it. It churned severely like a grinding stone and didn't stop, despite how soothing I ran my fingers on it. I felt a little nauseated. As I stood up from bed and scurried into the bathroom, my legs felt heavy just as my head did. It wasn't normal, I knew it. Something was definitely wrong with me. I've never felt this terrible all my life.

I feel weak and sore. My body feels very heavy. As if, a huge boulder was pressing against me. I cannot even move a finger without feeling discomfort. What happened? My eyes frantically scanned my whole being. Just then, the disturbing memory of my weightless body thrown into the window, flashed before my eyes. It appears that I forgot to wear my seatbelt. I-I am...okay? The white ceiling and the smell of disinfectant calmed my panicking spirit, yet my brain was churning fast that my head ached.
