In his memories, he had no concept of a mother. Throughout his life, he had never been this close to anyone.

The conference room became silent. Then Ben, the reporter, raised his hand again and said, "Mr Gates, Is it true that it is not the first time you disown your daughter?" I walked out of the recording studio to pick up the call, and I heard Kevin's mother crying on the other end. "Evie, I know I shouldn't be calling you, but Kevin might not make it. The doctors said that he has lost the will to live, but he's my only son. I'm begging you, Evie. Please come back to see him." I was moved by his mother's hysterical crying.
