This book has a great story line. Lots of mystery to keep your interest and twist and turns to make you read more. I love the main character strong female personality even though indecisive at times. There are errors and the transitions could be better but a good read overall. You will get better!

Worth reading. Has enough action to not be boring nor overwhelming. Great plot twists. FYI: several reviews mention some problems with language/syntax. An author’s note said it costs money to go back and edit. Look, MY English ain’t perfect, but I can understand enough of the story to enjoy it.

The Warrior’s Bride.

The Warrior’s Bride.

What if she didn’t have her scarf on? “Who are you?” Fareeda said, quickly getting her wits. It would be dangerous to look sick and weak in front of him. “I am Haider. I have been sent here by the King as your personal guard and errands man.” He said, looking at her. Fareeda wondered how old he was. He was heavily built and he also looked like a skilled guard. She wondered just what she needed protecting from. Fareeda did not know what to say to him. What she knew was her husband would not be happy about this. Still she would make sure to treat this guard well.

The Villainess Wants To Make Baby First, Revenge Later!

He was the king his people had been waiting for to occupy that position. And someone like that, just threw himself at Dylan without any special equipment to protect him. Luckily Dylan realized his identity quickly, otherwise, he would have to kiss his ass goodbye. Or to put it mildly, lose a leg. No wonder the guards hiding behind a few trees looked nervous. Sheep in Wolf's Clothing

"How? Look at your people, they do not deserve to perish because of me." "You do not deserve to perish either. I have it under my control or do you have another suggestion?" "Karim." I walked up to him. "Alpha Khalid is the dark one." "Why do you keep calling him Alpha Khalid? You should drop the title now." He walked away from me. "That is not even the discussion right now." "Of course, it is!" he snapped. "You keep selling yourself short. Have some faith. Everything would be overcome but you won't."

If I'm being completely honest, I would probably be far worse in my grammar as a native English speaker, so showing some grace & respect is of the utmost importance as Jennifer works hard to bring Laika and Karim to life for the reader. I hope she continues with many more stories or spin-offs.

This author writes so well and keeps me keeps me totally hooked. I can’t wait till the next update every chapter I read. If this book was already completed, I would read it thru in a couple days and not get anything else done except to just totally enjoy the story she has created. Love it!

Pull the trigger or leave him barely alive to set an example for the people who were still looking for her. "How do you know me? I know you're like me, trained not to speak when held captive or tortured but if you know my name, then you know me, and you know why they called me Adolph's Shadow, don't you?" His Adam's Apple moved up and down as he gulped from the fear she inflicted with that sentence and those dreadful eyes. He could still feel the aftermath of the punch she landed below his chest before sending him sprawling on the floor. "As expected of the Hian Hoshi clan, to be able to produce such a fine gifted weapon as you must have made them proud and esteemed."
