Something steady. She smiles. Kindly. “I am Queen Viola,” she says. Queen. I straighten slightly, forcing myself to respond. “I am… Kiana.” The name feels strange now. Like it no longer belongs to me. “Princess Kiana,” I correct quietly. “And this is Fiona,” I add, gesturing slightly. Viola’s expression softens. “It is a pleasure,” she says. I try to smile. I really do. But it does not reach my eyes.

But that was hard, seeing as she just sat there looking out of space. Camila Brinx was indeed a fine and beautiful young woman, she was a role model to many girls and women, they aspired to have her calm and collected mindset. I've heard many girls discussing how beautiful she was and how much they admired the way she talked and carried herself. I was also upset with myself that I felt jealous of seeing another woman closer to Karish than me. My luck couldn’t get any worse.
