The knife’s blade started cutting through the dragon’s thick skin and when I reached his most vulnerable place where his chest and neck met, I pulled the knife out. I slid my hand underneath his scales and stuck the knife deep into his heart and pulled it out. I repeated the process until the dragon went down on his knees. Oliver was yelling obscenities at me but I ignored him. It wasn’t my first time killing a dragon without Abeloth’s help. I looked the bleeding dragon in the eye as his blood dripped from the blade of my knife. “Go in peace dragon,” I said as I stuck my hand into his wound and ripped his heart out.
