I moved away and was about to give him a warning when a deep, deadly growl ripped through the air. Jeremy looked up and shuddered. He stepped away from me and I turned to see Killian standing right there. Killian started walking and Jeremy looked like he would die. I couldn't speak and heard the sickening crack as his fist met Jeremy’s jaw. Jeremy crashed to the floor with a grunt of pain and broke his nose. I was horrified watching him groan. “Touch her again,” Killian’s voice was ice, “and I’ll rip your throat out.” Jeremy could barely pull himself up to his elbows, his face contorted with pain.

You pick your target, and you commit.” For one second, Rosen thought Killian had lost his mind—that the Dragon lord was genuinely helping him end his own life.

Upon hearing the slur, Killan's entire body responded. Killan's lithe form reacted on its own accord, his fist connecting with the Alpha's jaw in a swift and decisive strike. The insult had been a grave offense, and Killan's instincts demanded retribution. Killan delivered a powerful strike, sending the Alpha hurtling backwards and causing his seat to topple over in tandem.

“She drank it all hoping that it would make her breathe. She grasped the hope that no one promised.” Valenn gritted his teeth. “If that is the truth, then the suspect must perish.” Kierson takes off his mask and puts it in the trash bin. He was smiling. Vishnu was appalled at seeing Kierson grinning. It wasn’t the usual grin he'll give off to random people and it was far from the genuine one. Kierson smiled like a psychopath, ready to kill whoever gets in his way. Those smiles were making Vishnu shiver.
