Xavier grabbed his phone on the table and tapped on the photo, zooming in. "Fuck! It is him." He tossed his phone on the table, his face twisted in rage. Killian craned his neck forward and took a peek at his phone. "Fucking hell. What is he? Walking dead now? I put a bullet to his fucking head. That's impossible." Stressed, Killian ran his fingers through his hair. Xavier dismissed his uneasy thoughts at his brother's accented voice. "I don't care if he's a fucking walking dead or what. If he's really alive, then kill him again." He ordered Killian.

Who the hell were these freaks? “Who are you, and what are you doing here at this hour?” one of them demanded, his accent thick, South African maybe. His eyes were sharp, calculating. “I’m harmless,” I said quickly, trying to keep my voice steady. “I work at Legacy Enterprise. I don’t know why you’re acting like this.” The second man, tall and pale, raised his gun and pointed it directly at me. “Do not move until Mr. Cross arrives—or you’re a goner.” His British accent only made the threat sound colder.

Chapter 3 ALPHA KLEIN'S POV I step back, unarmed by her demand. My phone rings from the table behind, and Aurelia rolls her eyes, exiting into the bedroom. I don't go after her now. I return for my phone instead, swallowing the lump in my throat as the call connects. ‘‘Saxon.’’ My beta. “Alpha, we just caught one of Héctor's spy in the woods.’’ He reports. ‘‘He won't say much though, he claims to be visiting his grandmother here.’’

The human body had limits. And Killian had been planning this for years. He waited for the right moment. Waited for Xavier to commit fully to an attack, waited for that split-second vulnerability when the Alpha was extended, exposed. Then he moved. His hand went to his waistband. Silver. I try and kick them off, but they grab and retrain my legs as they loom over me, grasping their knife in their hand. They raise it up, and bring it down to my chest, breaching contact with my skin. “Meet me outside Aka.” Is the last thing I hear from them as I feel myself slipping away, farther and farther into the darkness… Falling… Falling…

But his heart clenched when his eyes landed on Xenia, her form moving gracefully, her eyes focused, but then— A stray lunged at her from behind, its claws outstretched, and before Xenia could react, she was hit. The force of the blow sent her sprawling to the ground, a cry of pain escaping her lips as she clutched her side. Kaleb's heart stopped, a roar of rage escaping him as he moved towards her, his eyes blazing with fury.

Even Tyler looked at Axen’s place and looked at Kyra again. Kyra turned to Cael’s whereabouts. Cael was just sitting next to Kyra, and the skinwalker was in the air, and it was Kyra who was its target. Axen quickly ran as he saw the incident and approached Kyra. Tyler would use his kinesis, but it surprised everyone that Axen blocked himself and had a skinwalker on his chest. “Axen!” the woman screamed.

"Don't even think about it." "Wait for me." He brought the certificate to his lips and yanked out a dagger. He plunged it into his chest. His crazy move freaked me out. Blood sprayed everywhere, splattering onto the certificate and staining my photo red. He tried to wipe the blood off but ended up toppling into the shaft. With a flop, he hit the sewage below. I shook my head. Karma was a real piece of work. Three days later, a scavenger spotted the blood pooled by the elevator and called the police.

Alex come to school quite early, killing almost every member of the director general who refuse to talk who killed Clint and why. I learnt how to fight in case they will come for me again but since they did not, I became a tech guy by learning everything on my own." Leo said.
