“Take out knees. No mercy.” The men split. Killian surged forward like a bullet, rolling low and coming up with a sidearm. One shot. Two. The first man went down with a grunt. The second flinched but tried to retaliate. A shot cracked from behind—Killian’s backup had his six. Only one enemy remained. Killian vaulted a cart and slammed into him, both tumbling to the floor. “Why now?” Killian snarled, kneeing the man in the chest. “Why not wait till Declan and Nikolai actually died?”

“I don’t understand anything you’ve been saying. Who are you, really? And why are you helping me?” “You really want to know?” He asked, with this strange look in his eyes, almost like he was mocking me. “Yes,” I said and nodded. “I want to know.” He leaned back against the wall and crossed his arms. “Well, like, you know, I’m Killian. But what you don’t know is my full name—killian Kane. I’m the first son of the Kane’s family, the real heir to the Chitox company. I’m also Rowan’s elder brother.”

“SO LADIES AND THEIR GENTLEMEN, GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR OUR PLAYERS!” The crowd erupted in louder cheers as I spotted multiple players making their way to their bikes, donning matching suits, padded jackets, and helmets. I effortlessly located Killian with a curious gaze. Standing tall and commanding attention, he stood distinct from the crowd, his physique accentuated by his broad shoulders and sleek, all-black ensemble. Striking red stripes adorned his padded jacket, complimenting the design of his helmet. Although his face remained concealed, his pale blue eyes sparkled brilliantly behind the transparent glass.

Killian was ready for it all—to drive Damon insane and break him till he had nothing to hide. He had more meetings with Deon and other members of his board in place about their plan and action, and the plan had begun as they spoke.
