“Did he actually cure her?” I shake my head. “No, she died a few months ago, but he was able to make it look like the curse was gone.” “The curse is from the Book of Whispers, isn’t it?” “Yeah, it is. That’s what he’s using to do all of this.”

“Even if you successfully kill him, a whole pack will come after you. Us. You need to think this through.” I smiled. “They will only come after me. My priority is to save you and our sisters.” She shook her head, in complete displeasure at what I said. But the only thing she could do was disagree over and over again. After I saw Wevi’s sacred book bleed, a book that foretells the fate of my sisters and me. It was a sign that she will soon meet her mate. She will soon suffer. And her mate… will soon die. A curse in our family. A curse we cannot reverse or break. A curse that was destined for us.

"It's not something I really want to think about." Christopher turned the box over in his hand. "Well, it's something you should," he stated.
