She immediately lashed out and threw all that hatred towards Karl. Karl covered his face. He was stunned, unable to react. If it were any other day, Karl would’ve thrown a temper tantrum already. While Karl stared numbly at the streets, he spotted something and exclaimed in horror, “Princess Goddard, look! There’s another car coming!” Faye, who was standing upright before, fell down out of sheer fear. Peter, who was titled as king of the northern provinces, was bathing in cold sweat. He was a powerful man, but there was no way that he could continue suppressing the local powerhouse.

His voice dripped with restrained anger and sarcasm. The King picked up his teacup, cleared his throat in irritation, and said, “Your input is always welcome, Karl. If you have something to say, speak. I didn’t raise my children to be meek.” Karl scoffed under his breath. “You didn’t raise us at all.” “What did you just say?” the King asked, rising to his feet, clearly expecting his son to back down. But Karl wasn’t one to back down from a fight—especially not today. He stood as well, arms folded across his chest. The pain from his earlier injury was throbbing, but his fury kept him upright.

Karl smiled. "Okay, class. Have a nice day ahead" She said. "Thank you, Miss Hannah" They all shouted. She smiled and left. "What? Pakistan? Out of all countries, why say Pakistan?" Jake laughed. "Whatever. Kinda fancy it cause my favorite actor is from there. He also died wrongfully in one of my best drama series. My Ali" Karl sobbed, childishly. "What's he saying" Jake giggled. "By the way, Miss Hannah doesn't even know she was the one who mistakenly summoned the face shifter by using that test" Karl snarled.

I noticed darius work his jaw before giving up, "Fine. You can have your room back but you have to stay in your part of the house and stay away from our private quarters. Do you understand?" Karl smiled even wider, "Great. I will move my things in tonight.” We got to the ground floor as the doors opened before he walked out. We followed him to the parking lot as he jumped into a nice car, a black Bentley with the top down and drove away really fast. I turned to Darius, "You and Karl are so different. It is hard to believe you are brothers." Darius shrugged, "You have no idea, Anessa. Karl always has a reason for what he does. Right now his reason is to make my life difficult."

A stern yet gentle voice echoed in the cave. "Frederick," Styx muttered softly. "You looked so desperate, you Styx and not the brown haired moron behind you," he said jokingly, walking out through one of the tunnels. "It's Karl," Karl corrected, trying to hide the disdain in his voice. He couldn't believe that he had been here all along and he has been looking for him for days now which he was certain that he knows about but then he played him like a fool and he still dared to call him a moron! If not because they needed his help then he would have shown him...

“You pretended to be Sir Daugherty to come and see me. What’s your purpose?” Karl was completely dumbfounded from the shock. “You… You… I… I am Sir Daugherty…” Halfway through his sentence, he felt as if his wrist had almost been broken. It was so painful that he gnashed his teeth. “I… I’m K!” Karl cried out for mercy. “Terry North, I’m K, the one who’s been responsible for contacting you. You can’t be so ungrateful to the point that you would kill me. You’re about to break my wrist.”

Mischievous, smug, infuriating and damn it, once upon a time, alluring. “Hello, Jimmie,” Karl said smoothly, eyes glinting. Fara looked between us, brows furrowed in curiosity. “Wait… you two know each other?” Heat rushed to my face. My mouth went dry, but I managed to stammer it out. “Yes! Karl is my ex!” Fara’s eyes widened, and then she chuckled, almost choking on a laugh. “Oh, this looks interesting.”

The Germans were already warming up when Schneider approached them *oh Keyla? Karl knocked on the open door. He had a cup in each hand and looked at Farrukh. "Coffee," Karl said. "Strong." Farrukh looked at Karl. "You do that," Farrukh said. "For everyone." "For the people who need it," Karl said.

Karl said squinting his eyes to see if there were any doubts or lies, but there were none. “You Know whether or I’m telling the truth I don’t care and I don’t owe you an explanation” “Umm, I think you do, I’m the alpha” “Not my Alpha” I spat back, Karl stared at me for a moment then a little smile played on his lips, God he was attractive. “You’ve got a point, but come on everybody is waiting”
