King Of Curses Novels & Stories

Her thoughts felt tangled, pulling her in directions she did not want to follow. “You do not know what I am,” she said. “No,” he agreed. “But neither do you.” That unsettled her deeply. Elsewhere in the fortress, Alaric stood alone in his private chamber, staring out into the night. He had left Elysia’s room because remaining there had become dangerous. Not to her, but to himself. The curse lay beneath his skin as it always had, a constant presence he had learned to live with. It was absolute. It did not warn. It did not fail. It killed instantly and without exception.

She called out, holding her head high, ashamed of her son’s behaviour on a sacred full moon night. As a king, he should offer his prayers to the Moon goddess and beg her forgiveness for unleashing his wrath on innocent souls. Only then can he be free from the curse the goddess put on him and find the mate to continue the bloodline of Vane clan. If he goes astray, indulging himself in unnecessary pleasures, he will lose his kingdom and one day his life. Beatrice waited, hoping to hear a response from her son but the rattling of the door intensified as if to answer her.

The air tensed when Christopher didn't immediately give a response. "Christopher" King Leonidas growled and he sighed. "There is something you don't know about your curse" King Leonidas straightened as we both listened with rapt attention. "Tell me" he growled. "You are never going to be free from the curse" "The letter of prophecy……" "Gave you something to focus your attention on. The witch that cursed you was killed and so was every chance to get rid of your curse. Once you find your mate and mark her, you're inclined to murder her and once that happens, another mate comes along" I frowned. "So there could be another mate after me?" Unease filled my belly. "You aren't the first mate"

"The truth, King Liam, is that your mother, Circe, cast a curse upon the entire kingdom before her demise. She vowed that love would never take root in these lands, and your life became the price paid for such a promise. We, the spirits, accepted her offering. We accepted the curse, for it was paid in blood." The words hung in the air, a revelation that sent ripples through the fabric of reality itself. The ancient spirits, bound by an age-old pact, had woven the threads of a curse that cast a shadow over the kingdom. "The curse dictates that the kings of this realm shall never know love. Whenever a king in this lineage dares to love, consequences will unfold," the spirit continued, its voic

Darius barked back, the question had run through his mind a thousand times ever since Gedoni and his men infiltrated the kingdom. Sir Theophilus looked at Darius sternly as he answered the question that had been thrown at him, “if King Cyrus doesn’t return, then we must find a way to break the curse. And once the curse is broken, the twin brothers must fight to the death, whoever survives the fight will be the king and Alpha of the Lakewood Kingdom.” It was now Lucius’s turn to scream, “WHAT?” He wasn’t ready to fight his brother, talk more of killing him.

She pushed herself up slightly against the pillows, her voice ringing through the shadowed bedroom with surprising force. “Heartless people… You are demons!” she rasped, each word laced with venom. “You will regret what you’ve done to me. I curse you and your child. On the day I leave this world, I will charge you. I will take a life and ensure you live without peace. My spirit will haunt you until the end of your days!” Her voice echoed off the high ceilings, raw and haunting, before collapsing into a fit of coughing. Even in the grip of death, Carla poured every remaining ounce of her will into the curse.

She changed everything in the kingdom including my mom's simple recipe for the royal family. I knew the moment she stepped into the grand ballroom hall with her red bareback dress as my father took her hand for a dance on the night of his birthday, my life would change. It would gradually change. But I had no idea that change was dreadful for when I turned ten, I was banished when the high priest announced to everyone at dinner, "The Alpha King's heir curse is a threat to our pack. His cure can only be found in the human world!" At that time, my stepmother was already carrying his seed, the next in line to the throne.

“About 5 years passed and the wealth ancestor finally found his mate, an alphas daughter from a clan from over the seas, they combined packs and went about trying for a child. Then on the day the couple had announced that after countless tries that had finally conceived an heir, the once young lady who had fled years before returned, much older and vastly more powerful, in the time she vanished from existence she went and found a very powerful coven and began increasing and learning how to use her powers. She cursed the couple and their unborn child to never be able to produce female heir and to do so the child ill die on her 15th birthday, she cursed them with a generational curse which is

“Give me the boy!” Darius intercepted him with a savage roar, driving his claws deep into his father’s chest. “You will never touch them.” The ancient king gasped, dark energy leaking from the wound. “You… have become soft. But the curse… it will consume you both eventually.” Darius twisted his claws. “The curse ends today. With you.” With one final surge of power from both Darius and Kai through their soul bond, they overwhelmed the old king. His body crumbled into shadows and dust, the ancient evil finally destroyed.

I put on a straight face, but wanting to let them have the upper hand in this conversation. “What of it?” I questioned, raising a brow. Elder Rogers interjected, his tone sharp. “The curse makes you a liability, Alpha. You are unstable. You’ve brought order to the Blackburn Pack, yes, but the kingdom requires more than brute strength. A king must be in control and from what we’ve heard,” he locked gazes with the rest of the council members who nodded in agreement. “We heard that the curse has become even worse.”
