They gently walked close to the gate but before they could comprehend what was happening a cage covered them all up taking them high in the air. "Hahaha," the king laughed coming out of a hidden shade. "I expected you all to be smart, but you all are just dumb." All of them tried using their powers but nothing worked. "Quit trying, that cage is protected with dark magic that won't allow you all to do anything" the king of the dark uttered seeing what they were doing. "Why are you doing this father?" "Will you kill me your daughter too?" "You seized being my daughter the day you helped this mortal and his lover escape."

The argument room, as I've dubbed it, is full of King's personal guards. These men are his leaders for good reason. All are deadly fighting machines and have proved their loyalty. Cabel, who married an island woman a year ago, is back as one of King's guards. It's nice to see him at the table. He doesn't smile or acknowledge me and even knowing why, it frustrates me. At least it does until a woman looks in King's direction. Then I understand completely. That doesn't mean I need to like it. Cabel has his mating rage under control and just in time. We need him.

Once she was done with the spell an opaque cage formed around King Alexander, Queen Seraphina and King Damien. "What is the meaning of this Elena, left us out" King Damien roared banging on the opaque walls of the cage. "But you're the King. I can't do that." "Right now I'm Cage. Come on," he slapped his hands together. She hesitated. Lara grew her claws and ran to him. She aimed to hit his face. She threw her claws at his face as she got close but he caught her hands a few inches away from his cheek and twisted it.

For some reason, he seemed awfully familiar. "As you all know, your Alpha is dead." His voice resounds through the forest.
