Kingdom's Bloodline Novels & Stories

Kade leaned forward slightly, his full attention now hers. “One of these things alone is powerful,” she continued. Her voice lowered by a fraction. “But when the three stand together… they become unstoppable.” She lifted three slender fingers. “The first… cursed blood.” Kade’s eyes flickered. A faint tightening at the corner of his mouth betrayed recognition of its brutality. “The second… a witch of the royal bloodline of the Coven.” The air inside the carriage thinned. “The third… a royal bloodline of the Assassin Clan.” Her gaze sharpened.

Evan was suddenly beside us. His expression changed the moment he saw the page. "Where did you find that?" Sophie pointed to the shelf. "Right there." Evan took the ledger. He turned several pages quickly. "Moonblood wasn't a pack." "Then what was it?" I asked. He hesitated. "A bloodline." Adrian stepped closer. "Keep reading." Evan did. The records described a kingdom that existed long before the current pack system. A kingdom ruled not by strength, but by a bloodline believed to carry an ancient connection to the moon itself.

She snatched a sword from a nearby guard and lunged at us. Before she could get close, one of the former king’s guards knocked the blade from her hand and kicked her to the ground. “With His Majesty and the former king present, how dare you act so recklessly?!” The former king did not even spare her a glance. Instead, he turned to the ministers and said, “Five hundred years ago, the founder of our royal line was born with the blood of beasts. In those days, the world was plagued by disaster. The people suffered endlessly. Due to that blood, he possessed extraordinary strength and an instinctive ability to sense danger. Time and again, he led the people to safety. Over time, capable men gathe

These were only our most trusted warriors, we take them everywhere, as is procedure for the royal family. Let me elaborate on that. We weren’t born as royals, we just happened to be the strongest bloodline still standing after the great war. The actual royal dragon bloodline got wiped from existence by the royal coven, and vice versa. Pretty tragic, when you stop and think about it. 2 entire kingdoms annihilated, because they couldn’t allow their children to be with the person they loved. If I am ever lucky enough to convince Athena to accept me and to have children with me in due time, I would raise my child to be whoever the hell he or she wanted to be. And to love who he or she wanted to

he asked finally. "Not much," I admitted. "Just what everyone knows. There were powerful families once, before the kingdoms unified. Some had gifts beyond normal wolf abilities. Most of those bloodlines died out or were absorbed into the general population." "That's the sanitized version," Dominic said. "The truth is more complicated. Some of those bloodlines didn't just die out. They were hunted. Eliminated systematically because their power was deemed too dangerous, too unpredictable to be allowed to continue." A chill ran down my spine that had nothing to do with the temperature.

His father's blood was the same family, the same throne line. But the ward hadn't been placed for a Dravenhart. He pulled back before the ward could fully engage and trip the identification layer above it. Stood in the cold second chamber and thought. The ancient bloodline ward recognized something close to a Dravenhart. Had been there before his father's reign, before his grandfather's probably. Old enough to be from the founding of the kingdom or close to it. *What bloodline was ancient enough and connected enough to the throne that a Dravenhart would read as close?*

"We have heard rumours, king Arden. Rumours that this girl carries the blood of the queens of the west kingdom." The hall went still. Even the insects seemed to know this is not time for noise. "The same bloodline that brought war and death to our ancestors," Helena finished. Her voice rose so everyone could hear. "The same bloodline that nearly burned all packs to ash hundreds of years ago." Arden's hands tightened on the arms of his throne. The wood creaked. "Her bloodline is not her crime."

King Aragon pointed out, looking at both Kings. “My kingdom’s heir might potentially be in danger. It goes without saying,” my father said. “That, and we’re family. The Kingdom of Draxlar, the Lycan Kingdom, and the Kingdom of Erea are bound by blood. This is our war too, because we know you would do the same for us,” King Hayes added. I could see that King Aragon was touched, despite the stoic look on his face. “I won’t lie and say we wouldn’t appreciate that much.”

“Because the bloodline migrated north after the fall.” Elyria's voice softened. “The throne preserved the lineage.” The implications hit everyone at once. The prophecy, the bond and the throne. Everything connected. The First Luna's bloodline through Liora. The Guardian King's bloodline through Kael. The ancient kingdom had been waiting for both of them. Waiting for centuries. The sword drifted closer. Silver fire wrapped around its hilt. The voice spoke again. “Claim your inheritance.” This time, I reached forward. My fingers closed around the hilt.

"But... we are only two. The legend spoke of three kingdoms." The Queen in the center, with the regal bearing of the Dragon line and eyes that mirrored Sol’s, let out a soft, musical laugh. "Yes, we had planned for three... but years ago, the fates intervened. Two lines were made into one, woven together through the centuries. You carry the weight of all three now." She winked, her expression softening. "And remember... you will need plenty of children to keep our blood alive." The woman to her left—the one with flowing white hair and piercing violet eyes that made me feel like I was looking into a mirror—laughed as well. "Sister, I don't think they will have any problems with that. They hav
