Kingmakers Series Novels & Stories

He thought he had hidden enough, but he couldn't believe that his eyes had accused out. Jame's hands clenched my neck, despite the thin skin peeling off. I made a successful bet. Jame had a love for King David. He's a brave Alpha and will fall in love with another Alpha. Or rather, he's just like me. It's all alpha masquerading, not purebred wolves. I realized this every time the king invaded the territory. James alone is allowed to take care of David. He kicks everyone out. More importantly, every time looks at David, Jame always exudes cheerful pride. It is not the same as the feeling of worshiping the superior.

Skyler glances at Diesel as she continues speaking. “Where did you hear about that?” “We heard Princess Juliana tell her friends that her mate’s blood can only heal Alpha and Beta bloodlines. Our clan do not have Alphas and Betas. We have Kings and Queens and royal families. But the Demon Wolf can heal all Wolf Bloods.” Skyler’s eyes bounce from me to the others inside the bedroom, making sure to make eye contact with all of us. This girl is smart and knows how to make people listen to her.

I smiled as I stood up and walked over to him offering him my hand. "My names Nevaeh Allias." "Allias..." he trailed off in thought. "Isn't that...." "Nevaeh, What are you doing?" I looked over my shoulder to see my father coming towards us with Beta Benjamin. Kane immediately stood up as well as the others and bowed their heads in respect as they approached. "Training," I said with a shrug. "And who might this be?" my father asked as he studied Kane before looking at the others. "This is Kane, he's part of the pack warriors for the royals."

The witches and warlocks had beams of magic radiating from their fingers as they looked at the dark king who dared challenge the king of the land with his maiden. “I have been lenient on you once Verone, but I was younger and you had drained me. If you don’t get out of my sight this instant, I will be sure to make you regret ever coming out of that pit you were hiding in” Klaus said glaring at the king. His voice changing as his wolf made himself known. My eyes widened at the sight and I found my heart racing as Grace pulled me back to check on me, her eyes worried as she scanned me for any injuries despite knowing that the dark one had not even touched me.

“Move—” Before We Begin A quick note about the werewolves in this story. If you came here expecting strict pack laws, ancient alpha traditions, and characters who behave exactly the way folklore says they should… You may be in the wrong forest. The wolves in this world follow instinct more than tradition. They make questionable decisions. They break rules that probably existed for good reasons. And occasionally they create problems that absolutely no one planned for. So if you catch yourself thinking, “A werewolf would never do that.” Just remember— These wolves didn’t get the memo.

King Asnus called hesitantly, "there's something you need to know." "What, pray tell?" "The raiders, they had sharp claws and teeth. Their eyes also glowed a weird green. Thru seemed strange but they were humans, I'm not sure if…" he trailed off. Sebastian's eyes narrowed. Definitely not vampires. Green eyes… vampires were red. "I'll take care of it. Do as I have commanded." King Asnus bowed, "yes, my lord." Sebastian turned and went down the roof. "Are you leaving?" Aurora asked when she saw him walking out of the partially destroyed palace.

It was a weird sort of déj¨¤ vu. Emma stood at his sink, studying the brands of the various objects displayed on the countertop and inside his medicine cabinet. He used Crest as his toothpaste, Listerine for his mouthwash. His cologne was a glamorous sounding Tom Ford brand, his deodorant a mundane stick of Degree. He and Steve used the same shave cream, but he used disposables where Steve had always insisted on a refillable type of razor.

He nodded his head and I shift back landing softly on the heavy tree trunk “What did you see?” Faran asked. I leaped down and walked towards the rest of the warriors belowground. Will came out of the shadows and followed my Killian. The Seelie king war his gold armor and the dark viridian tunic of his kind. His helmet although ancient had golden wings sticking out of both sides. Killian on the other hand looked relaxed despite his minimalistic clothing choice, “They’ve passed the graveyard,” I say looking at all of them carefully to keep my voice low enough to not arouse suspicion.

I asked, eyeing it suspiciously. “Open it.” I peek inside and my jaw actually drops. It’s full of candy. Not just any candy, my favorite candy. Sour gummy worms, chocolate-covered pretzels, those weird strawberry things I can never remember the name of but always buy anyway, and even those little caramel squares that stick to your teeth. Knox pulls out two pieces and slides them across the table. “For every question you get right, you get a reward.” My entire mood does a complete one-eighty. I sit up straighter and grab the candy like it’s made of gold. “Are you serious right now?”

But after the war, he changed, left me alone among the humans only to die in the hands of his brother, trying to save my mother. The shield has changed much over the years, it used to be powered by a thin blue wall of fire, when I became king we started experimenting other technological methods mostly because our pack lands kept increasing. Currently it is mainly a magnetic electric field, powered by reflective solar systems concealed deep in the forests. But the heart of the power house is still run on pure fire. Occasionally when the power house is down, a crack opens in the shield, creating a portal door once opened, it take a few days to close it back up so Rouges use this portal door in
