Kitana Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance Novels & Stories

That will threaten their control over our community. I cannot allow this; I will not allow this. “Hector!” Kit roars out at me, pulling a male to the ground that was coming for me from behind. Just like Jaxon, he kills him instantly…pulling his heart out. I guess they can’t grow back a new heart or a new head. Both deaths were just as final as the other. I remain as close to the door as I can, while a fight was happening out here…what kind of fight

No wonder James is here. "Why should we believe in your words? You're the one who killed our people, and now you're helping?" Katie keeps speaking for everyone. One day, this fool will realise that things don't work as she wants, and her actions will have consequences. I clench my fists and yell at her. "If you would so much as glance out the window, you'd notice figures moving in the distance. There are at least twenty men, and judging by the colour they wear- they're from the Alliance. And what's worse, that's the unit I trained. You don't want to be here. So, the room? The weapons?" I watch as the women rise from their seats, call their children, and run up the stairs one by one.

This was like the final boss in a video game, and we were going to defeat him together. "Are you done with your final goodbyes? I'm going to kill you and she'll have no other choice but to become my mate," Jett bellowed. He stood waiting for us to attack first. Kira, are you ready? Yes! Let's do this! Dante gave me a nod. When I say 'now', do what you did back there. I tilted my head in confusion, but then it registered in my mind what he was referring to. Copy that, Alpha.

------------- The call ended without resolution. Three Alphas confirmed their alliance standing explicitly, Ironback, Crestmoor, and the northern pack, which I had expected from all three based on what I knew of them. Three went quiet, neither confirming nor withdrawing, the particular non-committal silence of people who want to see which way the wind blows before they commit to a direction. Six formally requested an in-person summit before any further joint operations. Six. Out of twelve. I watched the participant names fade from the call screen one by one as people disconnected. Ivan's was the second-to-last to go. He didn't say goodbye.

How could I be tainted by another male's scent? "Move!!" Lucas let out a beast-like roar, his eyes bloodshot, his canines extending. "She is my Mate! Give her back to me!!" Before he finished speaking, he launched himself like an arrow from a bow, pouncing directly at Lucifer! "You want to die?" Lucifer's purple eyes narrowed slightly. He didn't retreat but met the attack head-on. Bang! Two top-tier Alphas engaged in the most primal, bloody hand-to-hand combat in this small flower shop.

he announced as he stepped forward and knelt in front of her so their eyes met. Her blood splashed onto his clothes. The torches in the sconces flickered, as if announcing her death along with the fall of the lady. Shadows twisted along the walls like monsters growing in the darkness. But it did not scare the woman anymore. She had already seen the biggest monster standing right in front of her.

As for me, the most unforgettable catastrophe was the day I dirtied my hands just to survive with Liene, my first friend. “My comrades and I were having a peaceful rest until culprits destroyed our night and threatened to kill us. When most of us dared to fight back, they slaughtered them, and those who did nothing remained alive. I’m one of those cowards who never fought back,” he said, “the culprits were total bastards that they made us play a game and the one who will survive will get a reward.” He gazed at me. “Do you know what the game is?”

The doorman announced, and the entire crowd followed the instruction which I failed to do. I scoffed at the title given to him and the announcer caught my reaction. I wasn’t going to bow. He is not in my list to give respect, let them take it as disobedience. They are going to kill me anyways. “Enters, Alpha Xavier Knight and the Heir of Seven territory Alpha Orion Knight.” The mention of Xavier made my ears turn into the direction of the gate and my jaw dropped into the depth of the ground. “Why isn't he dead?” Serena asked me when she saw him walking on two fine legs. She sneered in anger and her body trembled making her furious as ever.

He was about to say something again, but I already pushed him to the side to leave. "Nikita, wait!!!" he called out. I turned my back to give him a rude middle finger. He smiled dotingly which made me more annoyed. How can he act so cool about it when I'm here and dying of hatred towards him. "Your Final fight is tomorrow, right? I did some research about your last opponent. His name is Alston. He's an Alpha. I want you to be careful from him. He's a dangerous opponent," he warned. I looked at him boredly, frowning at the thought of him thinking that I need his help. I obviously won't listen to him. I'd rather die in that ring that listens to his advises.

"A Queen of ghosts and a King of dogs. Neither shall leave the Silent Dominion." "Funny," Killian rumbled, his golden Alpha runes glowing so brightly they began to singe the air. "I was just thinking your armor would make a decent trash can." Killian launched. He didn't shift, but his speed was post-human. He met the Knight’s obsidian claymore with his flaming broadsword in a collision that sent a shockwave through the gorge, momentarily reversing the flow of the waterfall. Sparks of solar fire and black soul-flame rained down like a deadly celebration.
