Violets and Ash

Violets and Ash

The antique looking cookbook, themed after witches and wizards, was what propelled me into my passion for baking. “Let’s see…” I trailed off, pulling two from the shelf at random. Colorful pictures jumped out at me until I chose one from each book, as I did every night. “…how does bacon jam burgers and a black forest pudding cake sound?” “Sounds like I need to start paying you instead of the other way around. You keep spoiling me like this, and I might not want to retire.” Jackie teased, the corners of her eyes crinkling. “Next time you make some of them cheesecake bars, I’ll take another pan. Phil went crazy over those things.”

Since Iridian, I have eagerly awaited anything you would write. This book is everything I hoped for: intelligent, fast-paced, and draws you into the characters. Your storytelling is impeccable, and of the 100-plus books I have read on this app, only one other auther comes close. Thanks for the ride!

I love this book! And in the author’s defense, while she may not update often, when she does she DELIVERS. She gives us 4-5 lengthy, passion packed, well written chapters all at once, which I super appreciate......️ Most authors that update daily give ok chapters that are riddled w/grammatical errors

werewolves

werewolves

The table skidded; the chairs screamed on tile. “Kitchen!” Tara snapped, pivoting. Her burst chewed fur and hide; the wolf recoiled, snarled—then hit the boards again, harder. Jake dropped a mag, slammed another. “Hold the hall,” he said, already moving. He hit the kitchen threshold as the she-wolf from the garden came on again—same scarred forearm, same hateful eyes. She dragged the table with her body, claws shredding timber. Up close her stink was metallic and wrong.

The Wolf Spinner

The Wolf Spinner

The kitchen smelled of lemon; it was fresh and perfectly clean. There were two doors at the end of the kitchen, one was the laundry room but the other was something that surprised Saffron. The walls had open shelves, and they held hundreds of bottles of all different sizes. On another wall were piles of ledgers and books labelled Illness, Truth, Lies, and Love. Hanging from the ceiling were bunches of herbs and other plants, bunches of feathers, and… What was that Saffy squinted at the ceiling, bunches of tied fur? Laughing inside, she would no doubt find a cauldron and a jar of frog’s legs in a minute.

Are you continuing this story when you've finished writing about Millie and her boys? Also is Ritchie getting his own story. Love the ways the characters from your other books interact and wonder will they be making an appearance in this colourful tale too, I think Saffy would like Millie, Ellie too

I love the book so far, like every thing else you’ve written so far ^_^ I can’t wait to see where it goes. I do have a question what happened to “Living with the CEO” (I was looking forward to reading that too).

Alpha's Blind Luna

Alpha's Blind Luna

“First though, I have something you might like.” We wove back through the castle, past the dinning table and into the largest kitchen I had seen next to the one in the High Council’s castle. This was far more modern though. It also made you feel like it was used by a witch. The dark green cabinets and different flowers drying gave it a feeling like I could easily find a cauldron somewhere in here. “I’m glad I decided to stay up last night. Sometimes, I just get feelings that I will need things.”

Auri had the worst life, but I was happy to read that her mate did not really want to abandon her. I just wish in the end that she would have been put back together. Poor thing also we never talked about her family anymore and wanted to hear about her sisters mate thought for sure it would be Bryan

Zac said in a funny way but it seemed like Caroline didn’t enjoy the joke at all. Caroline glared at Zac with hatred. “Please don’t mind him” I said to end the awkwardness. She ignored me and moved forward towards the kitchen. “Well. Here is the spot where I usually find my daughters spoiling the food most of the times” my father giggled to make the environment funny. “Come on. Not all the times dad.” Anna laughed. The kitchen was an open galley style with top quality appliances, storage galore, all the cooking utensils you would find at home, and fabulous views.

When Neville catches my gaze, he gestures for me to take a seat on one of them. He moves to the kitchen stove, turning it on and putting a small pot on it. Then he picks out two big clean bowls from the other side of the dining table. I bend in my seat, and that's when I realise there are shelves inside the dark wooden block supporting the marble. I watch him work his magic by heating up the water in the pot, grabbing two Korean instant noodle packets from a kitchen cabinet and then tossing the noodles in the simmering utensil.

Forsaken by the Moongoddess

Forsaken by the Moongoddess

“Chop chop, little thief.” Oh my! My head throbbed. This woman must be definitely crazy. This would take me nothing less than three hours. I stood there for a few seconds, perplexed. A dry chuckle escaped my lips. I'm not even a chef. How am I supposed to make all that? “This is pure witchcraft” Still, I made my way slowly to the kitchen. I searched the internet for each step, following instructions through blurry eyes and aching limbs. Sweat dripped from my brow, my hands shaking.

The Black Wolf

The Black Wolf

“How… how did you shift with clothes on? That’s… how is that even possible?” She smirked. “Magic.” “Wait where’s Siora?” I asked, scanning the space around us. A clatter rang out, metal on metal, and our eyes snapped toward what she’d earlier called a kitchen. There stood Siora, flipping pancakes over an open flame with surprising skill. One was already stuffed into her mouth, her cheeks puffed out like a guilty squirrel mid-theft. The fairy woman gasped. “Stay away from my kitchen!” “What?” Siora mumbled through a mouthful. “It was burning, I only helped!”

Surrogate Mother To A Contract Wife

Surrogate Mother To A Contract Wife

Paper Dreams
I’d followed the instructions of the cooking blog I found and the ones Matthew sent me, but everything I touched ended up turning to ash. In fact, it was nothing short of wizardry. Like one meme I’d seen on the internet, cooking involved reading from a cookbook, pouring ingredients into a steel cauldron, and turning with a ladle. How on earth was that different from witchcraft? If only Scarlett could see me right now, she would be laughing and rolling on the floor at my failure. I knew she was more than capable of tormenting me with that sonorous laugh.
