she replied, her voice breathlessly shaking with each word. As I sat up, I chuckled and shook out my fur, abandoning all but a couple of puppy characteristics that I usually wore. I could feel her surprise as she noticed the change for the second time. I returned to human form and began loading the mushrooms into my own collection bag. Ruby shifted and slowly approached me, keeping a close eye out for any more surprises.

I mean, even is cousin have a snake tattoo on his neck. I wonder just what they mean though. My mind was cut back to them when I heard the little nasty thing talk once again. "Ok Pappi, I'll wait for you, but don't be long" she says cheerfully. She leans in and gives him a kiss on both of his cheeks while his gaze was still fixed on me. She jumps down from his lap and walks over to me. "Bye, I'd love to see you again" she says. Huh!

I furrowed my brow. “It’s not just a matter of dad telling me who to kill, and I just did. Kitsune… it’s not just a mask. It’s a personality, like another person in my head. And she likes blood. She likes the kill.” she confessed in a soft voice. I was quiet. Taking in what she said. Thinking about it. Maybe the stories aren’t all that far off when they say Kitsune is a spirit.

No-one would be able to argue that I actually clinched a gem. Her eyes flickered to me, and I noticed the way she looked at me like she was confused by something. It was so cute. Kitty was actually the most authentic and sweetest bundle I know. She was also fierce when it came to saying her opinion and that was something that I loved a lot. I really didn’t mind her shenanigans one bit. “Ok, is something on my face because the way you’ve been staring at me is giving wild energy,” she pointed out.

A vision is playing out, and each of us can’t turn our eyes away. Lilly is sitting on the steps of Dalgaard Mansion, holding a white kitten. The kitten is a tiny, fluffy thing. But I don’t recall us ever having a cat. ‘You’re so cute,’ Lilly rubs her nose against the kittens, who meows in response. ‘My Harry would love you, but he’s just a year old and not able to take care of you yet.

Tiptoeing once again, although she wasn't sure why, Jenny went from stall to stall, searching for the kitten. It wasn't until she got to Apollo's that she found Cocoa. Jenny rolled her eyes. Of course. Because which horse would be the most likely to stomp a little fur ball to pieces? She scooped up the kitten and cuddled it to her face. "Hi!" Startled, Jenny whirled around. A tiny girl in a motorized wheelchair gazed at her curiously. "I'm Brithania. Who are you?"

I held his gaze. He smiled. It was unsettling and reminded me of that creepy Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. I never liked that book. It left me unsettled, but I’ve read it many times since it’s Delilah’s favorite. ‘He’s the Cheshire Wolf. The cat could disappear into the darkness and reappear at his leisure. Maybe that’s why he’s so stuck on calling us kitten.’ Emilia concluded. ‘Or he’s just a dick.’

Erebus rose his brow as a hint of surprised, "Take your pick then." Kitty looked down at the two left shots, and then rested her hand on her hip, looking up at Erebus again with a pretend angry face: "They look exactly the same..." "Haha..." Erebus burst into laughter, "My apologies, my princess. It IS a bit hard to tell." Kitty quickly looked down and picked up the shot closer to her and mumbled: "I'm not a princess..." She swallowed the whole shot, feeling embarrassed by the title AND her own reaction. She knew he meant well, and he had been nothing but nice and kind to her. But somehow that word just reminded her of the fact that she was only a stray cat that was nowhere near a princess.

“Cheshire.” Naming the cat, yet more likely reminded her of a book she have seen somewhere, not here nor in this time, but unto the future and somehow unto the other worlds, where her family and life still revolve in the secrecy of her families ties to the demon king himself, yet rather a god as He claims Himself be. The cat loses a bit of its grin, as it disapproves and asks her once, more. “Who am I?”

It is specific to the male. I was shaken by what she said. That man doesn't look sloppy. He is handsome but for Kitty, she called him a bird. Kitty’s animal vision in men. Maybe that's how it is when you're brokenhearted. But it's not because my friend is brokenhearted. She's just feeling broken-hearted!!! This friend of mine is crazy, she's weird. "Chris is handsome," I teased. Kitty, on the other hand, seemed to be ticklish because of her reaction. "Don't even call that flea a handsome. Don't you know that man has many different kinds of animals? Girl, be careful you might fall for that flea!"
