She reluctantly sat there, looking at the Goddess in front of her. "Give me your hand," Hecate offered, showing the girl her upturned palm. She placed hers in it, a little surprised at the coldness meeting her skin. "You are grieving. Your heart has been broken by the vampire," the Goddess' voice sounded ominous and powerful, suddenly coming from all around her. Diana's breath hitched in her throat. The Goddess wrapped her hand around hers, her sharp and black nails quickly sinking into Diana's skin like tiny blades, drawing blood. Diana let out a pained mewl, eyes widening with alarm.

Clementine POV "Listen, students of Vampire High, welcome to National Vampire High Day year 29768." Chairman's introduction that we are at the top of the stage with some board of Chairman. Everyone applauded so I just joined. "Today, we're going to celebrate it. But first, we the board Chairman of Vampire high wants to say Thank you to the Vaughn family." The Chairman said that's why everyone looked at our behavior. Wrong, they Fin turned out. The twins just smiled with Creed except for Fin who had no emotion.

I sat on my bed and leaned on the headboard before taking a deep breath. I wasn’t being delusional. I saw it, I saw that his eyes turned red for a second. I just shook my head and tried to get it out of my head. I got the book that I borrowed from the library. I remembered that this book was from Zion, the one he said I’ll like. The main character was a female vampire who had just gotten off of her transition. I’ve read some pages and I stopped when I realized something. Some of the information was familiar to me. I went back to the other pages to read it again.

They held a kind of gleam that instinctively made me aware of how much of my life I would lose if I let him feed off me. I wanted to say no, but the words felt like it would rouse a storm I wouldn’t survive. A mere human like myself refuse a strong, long-lived vampire with greedy eyes. That was me calling for death. “I…” My mouth trembled. “Leave the girl alone, Vishkar.” A deep, controlled voice said. I flickered my gaze to take a look at who it was, but this monstrous, ugly vampire was blocking my line of view. The vampire straightened, slowly turning, “Klaus, find another blood bank. When he sat back down, he switched on the desk lamp and blew out the candles. “I found something very interesting,” he said, picking up a thick leather-bound manuscript from the far corner of his desk. “In here.” He opened the book and thumbed through the pages. “This is one of the most comprehensive volumes about vampires I've ever found. It has a large chapter on grafhym.” Leesa watched him anxiously, wondering what he had found that concerned her mom. They had already decided her mom might actually have encountered a one-fanged vampire—perhaps Professor Clerval had discovered something that proved it. But what she heard next was even better.

But after a few seconds, she snapped back to reality. “Why should I feel bad about spending money on something I really wanted? I’ve been seriously wondering if vampires really exist, and now that I know they do, why am I having such doubts?” She was shaking her head to help dispel her thoughts and guilt. “This is once in a lifetime chance that I will have, so this is worth it. When compared to seeing a real vampire, four million pesos is nothing!” She said, trying to smile after a few seconds. “But i

Kyle opened it quickly and swirled inside. Aidan was sat at his desk. He swiveled in his chair and gasped when he saw Kyle standing there. “Can I help you?” he said, adjusting his glasses. Kyle pulled up a spare chair and sat himself down, his face uncomfortably close to Aidan’s. “As a matter of fact, you can,” he said. He smirked as Aidan leaned back, trying to get some space between them. It was then that Kyle noticed the book that lay open on Aidan’s desk. He hadn’t been able to read all that well in his human days, but he could still recognize the word vampire.
