This confused me, Why is she smiling like that? "Dear please get dressed and come downstairs for breakfast," she said and walked away from here. It was weird, she didn't even listen to reply.

My hand fumbled for my phone, glowed in harsh white light. 5:48 a.m. “Who knocks at this hour?” I whispered to the quiet room, my heart hammering against my ribs.
