He applied pressure to his feet, and when the monk rushed in, he swept out with one leg. Smack! Ah! Sheldon’s shriek instantaneously reverberated. The limb he kicked out was intercepted by the monk, who grabbed Sheldon by the ankle with one hand, and struck at his foot with the other. As if a brick had cracked in half, with a resounding snap, Sheldon’s limb was ruthlessly crippled by the monk. The screams were numbing to the ears, but the monk did not have the slightest intention of being a kind and merciful saint. He didn’t stop after breaking one of Sheldon’s legs, but instead immediately grabbed Sheldon’s wrist and forcefully snapped it.

He set the food on the table, then lit a candle with a practiced flick. “We used to do blackout drills,” he said. “Remember? Middle school science fair.” “You cheated,” I muttered. “Brought a hand-cranked generator.”

Sheldon screamed out in agony. He was stunned. He had not expected Adrian would make a move without letting him finish his sentence. Sheldon was shaking from head to toe as he felt an ominous sense of doom in his heart at this very moment. He stretched out his other hand and picked up his gun from the ground, but it was already ruined. Sheldon said, “Friend, let’s talk about this properly. Stay calm. Let’s have a seat—” Bang! Another gunshot was heard and the bullet penetrated Sheldon’s shoulder. He inhaled sharply from the pain and his entire body was shaking.

Sheldon sat there, looking around the bottom of the valley, and muttered to himself, "They fell down together, but why can't we find them?" She raised her head and looked at the dense branches. Could it be that they had fallen into the trees? Sheldon walked to a higher stone and shouted at the branch, "Adeline, are you on it?" It seemed like someone was shouting. Adeline shouted loudly at the people below, "Is anyone there?" "Miss Simpson, is that you? Where are you?" Sheldon stood there and looked around. Adeline recognized Sheldon's voice and said loudly, "Sheldon, is that you? I'm on a big tree!"

I said to her. She cleared her throat. "Knock knock." She started while fixing her hair. I grinned at her and loved watching her when I tease her. "C'mon you'll love it I promise!" She exclaimed. I chuckled deeply. "Knock knock!" She said again while smiling. "Who's there?" I finally asked. "Leena." She answered. I paused. "Haven't heard of this one, have you?" She teased. To be honest, she's right. I haven't heard this knock knock joke that she's telling me right now.
