Greek Myth Kraken Novels & Stories

Maybell Smith Mythicals- A rare bloodline that people inherit from God, Dalion, that he personally blessed with the ancient dragon spirit. It is given to those who have been close enough to touch the white veil. Although this information is well known, mythicals are still a mystery to the rest of civilization, if encountered, don’t stare into its gaze.

Every legend has its hidden face and every myth is polished by the language of the poets who tell it. Ragnar Lodbrok's epic is therefore no exception. Contrary to what is known from the story of the illustrious and legendary king and warrior; Ragnar Lodbrok did not come into the world with the common physical characteristics of the Vikings whom we know as strong, tall and combative. He was born a hunchback: the bitter fruit of a second trick and a challenge that Loki gave to Hoder, the "blind god" of Asgard.

The apprentice moved away and bent down to cup some water with his palms. The moment he created ripples in the quiet lake, a giant tentacled creature rose up to the surface. "Oh my God! A Kraken!!" I ran as far back from the lake as possible. The creature was over forty feet long and was wiggling its tentacles and suckers dangerously. "Allena, it's just a giant squid." Marcus hugged me and rubbed my back. It was a squid indeed. Now I saw ink spilled into the beautiful cobalt blue water.

The main viewscreen switched to a live feed from the port, and a collective gasp of horrified disbelief went through the room. A creature of nightmare had breached the surface. It was a leviathan, a true kraken, larger than a blue whale, its hide a glistening, armored mass of chitinous plates and a writhing forest of colossal, sucker-lined tentacles. It rose from the depths with the terrifying majesty of a forgotten god and crashed down upon a massive container ship, snapping the vessel's reinforced steel spine as if it were a dry twig. A deafening, soul-shaking roar tore through the air as the beast began to systematically, almost playfully, dismantle the entire port. "Olaf is summoning kra

We have also crossed paths with a few dangerous creatures, it wasn’t anything that we couldn’t handle though. “I hope we find the Kraken.” I accidentally spit my food when Kai said that. “The Kraken?” He nodded at me. Was he serious? “Yeah, they live in water.” He said to me, continuing to eat his food. “I bet it would make for great calamari.” He really is serious. “Are you sure you’re not Tanner’s brother?” I asked him. He shook his head. “You do know that the Kraken is supposed to live in the ocean, right? It is a saltwater dweller.” He looked at me.

My home, my dream, everything is destroyed. Pulling down, deep into the water, the Kraken clenched its tentacles, knocking the breath out of me. My ribs cracked, light as cement, I was sucked deep into the water. The Kraken's mouth loomed, razor-sharp beak waiting. I was about to die. Given my entire life up to this point, it was probably inevitable that my death would be horrific. The tentacles clenched again, crushing bones. As the kraken ripped my flesh with large, meaty bites, I tried to scream. Blood bubbles foamed out of my mouth, and then there was nothing left but a beak covered with gore.

His voice was distant, as if he were putting together a puzzle in his mind. - AND...? — Aspen expressed the question that was also in my head. — In Greek mythology, Rhea and Cronnos are the Titans who created the world. They are the parents of the gods Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. They were husband and wife. — Remus explained. My eyes widened in surprise. — You mean Chloe and Aaron are…. — Aspen asked, excited. — It's just a theory, but it is known that wolves can only mate with another whose wolf name connects with theirs in Greek mythology.

And octopus-hermit crab kind of demon. ‘I didn’t think it would wake up.’ I hear Belphegor wondering, sounding terrified. ‘It shouldn’t have woken up! The Kraken has been asleep for centuries.’ ‘Excuse me, what did you just call it?’ Whirling around to face Belphegor might probably be the fastest action I did underwater. ‘Did you just call it Kraken!? You’re not referring to the one in the legends that sank ships before, are you?’ ‘That’s the one.’ Mammon answers, looking rather guilty by the way he is fidgeting.

“Kingdoms. Armies. Cities. Washed away beneath a tide of ancient fury.” He looked back at her. “And all of it, Jo... all of it will begin with you.” He gestured toward the ceiling. “They will darken the skies with wings and fins. Tear through the realms like paper.” Jo’s mind reeled. She had heard the whispers. Leviathans. Krakens. Creatures older than the moon itself. Dormant. Neutral. Untouchable. But once awakened, they didn’t obey kings or queens. They followed only the orb.

A bear of a dog is licking my face – or rather, the blood dripping out of the open wounds in my face – while something close is making a hissing sound like a pit of snakes. I drag my ass through the muddy bank and scream. Another dog turns to snarl at me and then a third, till my brain registers that all three heads are attached to the same giant, thickly-muscled neck. {Kerberos}. Greek mythology from high school floods over me and I whimper. {The Hellhound. Sibling to the monsters Chimaera and Hydra}.
