ALVA "Eh..." I managed, fiddling my cutlery with fingers whose tips were now beautifully shaped with varnished nails. "That would be a last resort. Finding a donor in this big city should not be difficult." "But would it not be safer to make another child with Nik?" Lilika inquired. She looked serious and it frightened me. I doubted the woman who had looked at me like I was less than a human being the second I stepped into the house and was actively looking for a way to kick me out of her son's life would suggest I make another child with her son? Wouldn't that solidify what she was trying so hard to break? Her unpredictability caused me concern. She was practically impossible to read as I r

the girl in ponytail said cheerfully and twirled. "What are you talking about?," Iktanne replied, completely baffled. The girls looked at her with a bit of confusion at her remark but wasn't bothered by it. "You see, Iktanne-sama, some of our relatives live in the northern province of Japan. Right now, our Empire's northern barracks have detected anomalies that involve about one and a half dozen of Giant bandits attacking villagers from there. Remember the sudden appearance of a tsunami a couple of weeks ago? General Gary of the North barracks sent a report to the Academy that those bandits were the ones responsible for that happening," the girl in pigtails explained.

“Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to honour the memory of Morgan Wilson who we all know as sheriff Morgan or informally as Old Morgan. Before that let me introduce myself, my name is Kate Zainab Omar. My mom was a Belgian-American and my dad was a Syrian-American.” I could hear people speaking in admiration. Some applauded her. “He showed us the path of peace. His life gave us hope that once you are determined, you can achieve all the goals you have set out to do. He sacrificed himself for what he believed in: the peace of Winster county. In his honour today, I entreat us to be more sacrificial in our daily live. Asterion

She nodded and set to fixing breakfast for everyone. As we were sitting down to eat, Minos’ voice called out, interrupting us. “Who shall be the next tribute fed to the monstrous Minotaur’s appetite!?” he called out. “The only monster in Crete is him.” Andromache grumbled. “Agreed.” the others nodded. “Today’s tribute will be… Eurymedusa!” Minos called out. “Do you know her well?” I asked, looking around the table.

Such an interesting & sweet twist to the Minotaur's story. Loved it! Asterion was so well depicted & emotionally drawn. The ending & epilogues were just so heart touching. I was very moved by the ending. Thanks for a very lovely, moving story.

I loved this story. I started reading it twice before, then just read it all way through over the last couple of days. I really want more like this! It was such a great twist on the Minotaur Myths and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

KANE

KANE

And at the center of it all, undefeated, untouchable, was Kane Shawn. Standing at 6'5", with a body carved from years of brutal discipline, he was a titan among men. His blonde curls were damp with sweat, sticking to his forehead as he rolled his shoulders, his enormous arms flexing with ease. His skin glistened under the dim lights, his six-pack rippling with every movement. But it was his face that truly set him apart a masterpiece of sharp lines and perfect imperfections. His light blue eyes had the power to pierce through a man's soul, making even the most confident opponents hesitate. His lips, full and sinful, often twisted into a smirk that made women weak and men envious.

ZION "Zion, for fucks sakes. Can't you keep your hands to yourself," Kendra fumed as she swatted my fingers away from her, "Didn't your mama teach you not to mess with a black girl's weave!" The scowl on her face amused me as well the red weave she decided to get during the weekend.

I normally read werewolf stories, which is how I found this author as I've been reading the Kylie's other books. This is the first story I've read with Demons and Angels, and I have really enjoyed it. A massive congratulations to Kylie for another great story. Looking forward to more stories :)

I was enthralled by this story of good and and evil. I believe you are a little closer to the mark than most which makes this story very interesting to read. I was very impressed. I definitely think you should do a follow up. Your writing is very talented. Thank you for an amazing tale. Please more.

"I've actually heard of a name similar to this one before, but since I didn't think they existed, I just left without knowing the information." "Well, you'd be correct because kuntilanak has a Malaysian name which is 'Pontianak', Pontianak is also the capital city of West Borneo, by the way," Kai starts. "Anyway, a kuntilanak is a ghost of a mother who died during pregnancy or sometime after childbirth. Can be any cause of death but usually the deaths are unnatural, one of the most popular ones are that she committed suicide after killing her baby. She did that because she got pregnant and gave birth out of wedlock and couldn't

“Who presents this newest member to the pack?” Richard asked as he stood on the dais. The pack members were all seated at the tables and I stood next to Kiran. “I, Kiran Sinclair, Alpha of the Southern Alaskan Pack,” he answered. “Present your member to the pack,” Richard said to him. “I present Levi Montgomery Sinclair, son of Georgina Sinclair, taken at the age of two and raised human and unaware, born of the Southern Alaskan pack under Female Alpha Georgina Sinclair,” Kiran said.

Kiran turned to look at Malachi and he nodded his head as well. “Kiran Sinclair, step forth and claim the first incision,” Malachi said, and I looked at the knife in Kiran’s hand. Aegishjalmur, Valknut, Triskelion, Yggdrasil, Gungnir, and Mjolnir were etched on the handle, the symbols of our ancestors and our history.

Cattenach Ranch

"This whole section needs replacing. We can work down the line." "Okay." Nate followed the foreman's cues. They used a sledgehammer on the boards that were rotten or loose, then Nate held the new section while Nakos nailed them in place. They got a few done before Nate spoke again. "Where's the reservation?" "Between here and the Thunder Basin National Grasslands." Nakos pointed due north. "Arapaho tribe." Nate had never heard of it. He and Justin had served with a guy who was part Cherokee, but that was the extent of Nate's knowledge on Native Americans. "What's that phrase you say to Olivia every morning?"
