Kyle Lamb Book Novels & Stories

Twaine's Point of View : I just got home from school when I caught up with Kyle who looked troubled. He was staring at his laptop while his forehead was furrowed. He seems to have a problem. I slowly climbed into my room. He was thinking a lot and I had no idea what it was. He didn't even feel my presence. I laid down on the mini table here in my room the three books I had brought from school. I also hung my handbag on my hanger before I took off my uniform and dressed for home.

*Kyle* My people have reported that the Lombard farm is quiet. There isn’t any sign of danger, thus now I am second guessing what the teller told me. If the witch is in trouble, there should be signs pointing to that fact. Now I have to convince her danger is brewing without any tangible threat lurking. What a nuisance….

As I clutched the book, waves of memories flooded my mind, arousing a sense of remembrance for the times when Kyle and I were still little. The book became a vessel of memories, reflecting the innocent joys of our shared past. Before I could delve into the contents of the paper, my eyes became moist with the flood of emotions unleashed by the memories. The words on the paper resonated with a promise made by Kyle, an earnest commitment scribed in his childish handwriting. "On this day, I, Kyle, swear to always be by my elder brother's side, Netayam, soon to be the Alpha of the Ravenwood pack. I promise never to hurt him and always be a good little pup to him!"

Shelves lined one wall, filled with files and books, while a seating area occupied the other side. ‎ ‎It didn’t just look important, it felt important! ‎ ‎“You… work here?” Liam asked, almost in disbelief. ‎ ‎Kyle walked past him casually, setting his keys down. ‎ ‎“What? You thought I ran some underground mob operation?” ‎ ‎Liam quickly shook his head. “No! I just- I didn’t think it’d be like this.” he couldn't help but look at Kyle whose shirt's button was left open at the top and his sleeves rolled up to his elbow. Who would think he worked in such a grandeur place.

He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. We talked all the way home, and I carried his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play football on Saturday with me and my friends. He said yes. We hung all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him. And my friends thought the same of him.Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, "Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!" He just laughed and handed me half the books.

I can't interfere with the pack, so he is happy—pompous prick. Kyle and I have been reading books. I make sure to point out talking points that prove Graham and his dad are wrong when it comes to keeping our blood as pure as possible. I make sure to tell him about how important it is to follow your inner animal. He is young, so he doesn't get it. But it makes me feel better to know I told him the truth.

Kyle went straight to work. We found the chest exactly where I had seen it before. Kyle quickly cracked the code and opened the chest. We searched through it and finally found the book we were looking for. The book that I have mentioned. "That's it !" I said with confidence. " Okay!" Kyle said. As we flipped through the pages, we found diagrams, notes, and sketches that all seemed to be related to our parents' death. My heart raced as I read through the information, feeling closer than ever to the truth.

I snapped. I reached into my bag, pulled out one of the thick storybooks I'd packed for Remus, and tossed it at Kyle. "Read this until you're fluent then I'll start you on something harder." "Ugh," Kyle pulled a face. "I'm going to check if you can later!" "Fine fine!" he huffed, burying his nose in the book. I leaned back, Remus stirring softly against me, eyes scanning the train car, the windows, the shadows between luxury and complacency.

he asked, his eyes blazing with a fierce intensity. I nodded, still sniffling, and led the way, my slender body trembling slightly as I walked. Mr. Daniel followed closely behind, his eyes scanning the crowd with a sense of purpose. Author's POV Kyle's slender fingers closed the book with a soft thud, and he carefully returned it to its designated spot on the upper shelf of their private library. His piercing sapphire eyes sparkled with a thirst for knowledge as he reached for the next volume, his dark hair falling across his forehead in a subtle wave.

he added with a pout. Mike's eyes gleamed. "Or the time when you helped—" "That's enough," the omega cut him off with a playful glare. "You win this one." Kyle chuckled faintly. "It's refreshing to witness you two." He looked at Mike. "What sports do you like?" The boy's brows furrowed in thought. "I don't like sport. I prefer... reading books." "Science fictions?" Kyle guessed and Mike beamed. "You read those too?" he asked. "They're amazing."
