Nina POV "Drink the tea before it gets cold, Nina." Novalee sets the porcelain cup on the bedside table. The ceramic clicks against the wood. "I am drinking it," I say. My fingers sink into the thick, dark fur of the kitten in my lap. Yuki. It is a Japanese name. Jethro must have figured out my taste by now. I stroke the small ridge of the kitten's spine, my hand steady, even if the rest of my skin feels raw.

He said as if he heard what's on my mind. "I'm going to the Okami Complex." He added that made me frown. "What business do you have there?" I asked as I hold the cat near my chest. "My sister owns that place." If Miss Kyrary is his sister, then there's no doubt that this guy is Kyros' twin brother. "Is that your cat?" He asked as he pointed to this cute little cat that I am carrying. "I found her here on the street," I answered. I was stunned when he smiled while petting the cat.

I could only assume with what Koa said, it was the King. Koa put her large paw on Miah’s neck while still looking towards the figure. Miah started to stir again and caught Koa off guard. Miah pulled Koa down on top of her and sunk her teeth in Koa’s neck. Koa let out a howl that was so loud, everybody cowered down and covered their ears. “End this Koa! Now!” I shouted in our head. Koa sunk her claws into Miah’s chest and we felt Miah let go of our neck. Miah then howled but it was a kitten yawn compared to the one Koa had just let out.

' She says to Kota and disappears into the trees. We can smell our mates, but they aren't in sight. 'Up here, Cujio.' Cat calls to Kota from the branch of a tree. She leaps down in front of him and rubs her body against his. 'You aren't supposed to give up your hiding spot, little one.' Kota purrs at Cat as he pushes back into her. 'I believe that makes you it!'

“Send me more tomorrow, okay? I want to see nyan nyan every day!” Heri couldn’t help but smile as he stroked the cat’s head—currently curled up in his lap like royalty. “What’s your cat’s name, Heri-san?” “Ponyo,” he replied. “Ponyo? The Ponyo? Ghibli’s Ponyo?!” Sakura burst out laughing. She imagined the little cat bouncing around like the character in the film. Strange… but ridiculously cute. “Yeah, Ponyo from Ghibli. Honestly, I don’t even know why that name came to me when I first got her.”
