She had to read to the end to get the gist of the book's contents. She read sentence by phrase until she discovered a description of the world of witches that wasn't so horrible. Lora has hope that she can move to a better place from here because the world is full of brightness. "I really shouldn't be here," Lora said. Her hand reached for the book's final page. She took out the map from the book and drew the cardinal directions in brown ink. Pigeon feather map writing devices were soaked in ink and used as sketching tools. Lora plans to follow the arrow out of werewolf territory one day. She already possesses half-werewolf blood, but none of the wolves are interested in being her partner.

Adrian's POV “What the fuck are you kneeling and howling on the floor for?” Lyla questioned as she walked past me and went to where Lola was lying still. “Lola, these people are calling you dead but I know you're not. So what, if your skin has lost all colors? It doesn't matter, right? You're Lola Ashton, the moon wolf. Girl, you survived worse and they dare to think this will unalive you. I glanced at a few of the books, some fantasy novels and a small sketch pad. I opened the sketch pad and looked through it, she was good. Really good. The scenes were mostly outdoors. Forests, waterfalls, mountains. All done with such grace and precision. Each more lovely and realistic than the last. I noticed at the bottom there was a J written as beautifully as the drawings themselves. I got to the last page and there was a drawing of a moon. Bright and beautiful in the sky but there was something else to it. The drawing felt sad. “What the hell.” I snapped as I lifted my hand and wiped a tear from my cheek.

“So get going everyone. Bring out your pens and notebooks and try drawing them as and when possible. Your Luna will help you if you get stuck but it’s pretty much a lot of practice and patience till you all learn to draw them.” Madeleine went to the whiteboard and erased everything we had written previously. Taking out a marker, she began drawing it, “So these are the set of runes, I had drawn on the wooden stumps to free the wisps. I had to retrace it nine times in a circle to finally free them all. I smiled, forcing my voice to sound bright as I walked into the room and dropped to my knees next to her. "Good morning, Mama! Look what I made!" I looked at the paper, my heart ached as I saw the drawing, but my eyes immediately dropped to the bottom of the page. There, a few wobbly letters were scribbled in red crayon.
