With Mira’s. Not as a mother. Not as a scientist.

“You recognize it?” Mira hesitated. “I shouldn’t. But I do.” She hummed softly, matching the tune. The sound wove perfectly into the mirror’s song — like two halves of one piece. The moment she did, the mirror brightened.
