La Venganza Es Dulce Novels & Stories

“How did you get..” “How did I get out of prison?!” He cut in. “I had to get my revenge” My whole body trembled. “Revenge for what?” “You put me in prison!”He yelled in anger. “Because you tried to kill me!” I yelled back. “Shut it!” She snapped, pressing a knife against my stomach. “Please” I gasped. “You have to die for what you did! You tricked me, You tricked me!” “Vanessa!” I heard Damiens voice yell.

I screamed at him as soon as I barged in, he removed his glasses and looked at me with a calm smirk. "I asked you something." "Well I don't think I did something wrong so I don't find it necessary to answer you." he said standing up and coming near me. "Wrong? Everything is wrong. Do you know how much difficulty I had to undertake so that my new name could be created? At least do you know what will be the complications of this absurdity?" I asked him and I am sure he can see the fumes coming out of my years. "Revenge is sweet, senorita."

It was dark and chilly in basement; there were only two chairs and a dim light. “Put her on the chair” as I commanded “You people can go now she is mine to deal with” they all nodded and went upstairs. I looked at the beauty; her face features were delicate and pure. She looked more beautiful in real life; she is not worth taking revenge but I can’t change my decision because of how beautiful she is; I can’t forget my motive at last she has to suffer no matter what.

He gave me a small, knowing smile, then told his men to escort my former friend out. I watched her go—defeated again. And still, all I felt was bitterness sitting heavy on my tongue. “You know,” I said quietly, forcing a faint smile, “the aftertaste can ruin even the sweetest first impression.” “That’s inevitable,” he replied. “Revenge feels sweet at first. Then the bitterness sets in—and that’s what stays with you.” “I don’t regret it. Not for a second.” I crossed my arms. “I’ll never regret putting that bitch in her place. If not me, then who?”

Well, I was always surrounded by guys since they were instrumental in our vengeance plotting, but I was not really interested in any of them. I recall from my childhood that I had to devote my time and energy to exercising and increasing my stamina on a daily basis. Boys were never only a source of disruption in our plans. I couldn't allow myself to be disturbed. All of a sudden, a hazy memory of my very first rejection came flooding back to me. “Kick harder, Av! How would you kill a bear with that kick? Harder!”

he answered. Wait, how did he know my.... “So you ‘have forgotten about me. Maybe this will remind you...” then he shoved his bangs to show a very familiar scar in his forehead. Everything went back. The stone, the blood, the tears, the cry and the guilt. Suddenly, I saw the kid that I bullied during my elementary. That kid that I never defeated but I always hated. “...K...Kai.....” I muttered. Then suddenly, an evil smirked formed in his face.

“Alexander please don't do this. I know you're disappointed but is there no other way? I'll ask my parents to apologize but please don't kill them. I don't want to lose them.” “You think I'm willing to lose my parents, Kimbeerly? I'm just like you in not wanting to lose my parents but what did your parents do? They even brutally murdered them and didn't give them any chance, so no forgiveness is in order. I want to avenge my parents just like my father did.”
