The Run

The Run

I move forward, joining her as we use what remaining strength we have to push our way out until a blinding light greets us. Letting my eyes adjust to the change, I slowly walk out the door and onto soft sand. The sound of waves lapping out to us fill my ears and as my vision finally clears I stand in awe at the sight before us. Crystal blue waters surround the island we are on and dread fills me. We are on crystal paw lake, the largest lake dead center in the forest. Legends say a monster lurks in theses waters and no wolf is ever found once they go for a swim. “Are we where I think we are?” The redhead asks and I nod, still coming to turns that we jumped out of one danger into another.

I Stole His Mark

I Stole His Mark

Caelan’s breath caught. Derrin let out a low growl, barely audible. "She’s... breathtaking." The water rippled around her as if responding to her mood, pulsing outward in small waves. The entire lake glowed faintly with her siren essence—soft blues and silvers weaving beneath the surface like threads of light. Tiny orbs of mist shimmered around her, dancing in the air. The air felt electric.

One of my favourite stories Ive found. the storyline amazing, the characters especially having a strong female lead amazing and the humour made me laugh laugh out loud at times like a crazy person. Kudos to the author and her brilliant imagination. it does however need to be edited/proof read though
Angela Newkirk
this is a really good book! I wish the author would learn how to use punctuation correctly! and " marks make a big difference! she uses some weird brackets between their talking. That's one big long run-on sentence between everybody talking. sometimes it's hard to figure out who is actually talkin

Alpha Killian's Human Mate

Alpha Killian's Human Mate

It was a fascinating sight to behold as the surface of the clear blue water glistened under the golden rays of the sun. "Amaris is the name," Killian spoke, "it means a place special to many." Indeed, the lake looked like something that would be special to many. The atmosphere was airy, and the smooth movement of the water oozed peace. I wouldn't be surprised if he told me they worshipped the lake too. There were different sizes, shapes, and colors of Peebles all along the shore. The water wasn't deep, but I dared not think of swimming because the first time I tried that, I almost drowned.

Slavic Witch: Alpha King Mate

Slavic Witch: Alpha King Mate

Walking through the meadow, Lady Jasmine and I approached the forest.. The sun was setting now completely and the beautiful sunset was hitting the trees and the nearby magnificent lake, shinning lights like sparkles on it.. The hues and colors were beautiful. I stopped for a moment looking at it wistfully. It has always been my favorite part of living here – the lake and the lake house. We walked in silence, she would mind like somebody on occasion, her eyes glazing over, but I did not ask and we did not walk much.. I explained the legend of the lake origin, according to the Native American folklore – it was the legend of the wolf who lost her mate and her children and cried to the Goddess f

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Each drop was a tear. They emerged from the mist onto the shore of a lake. The water was perfectly still and black, like a sheet of obsidian. The mist hung over it like a shroud. And all around the edges of the lake, from the overhanging rocks and the weary branches of the trees, water dripped steadily into the stillness. Drip. Drip. Drip. This was the Weeping. The source of the valley’s sorrow. “The signal is coming from there,” Arin said, pointing to the center of the lake.

The human hybrid betrothed to the lycan prince

The human hybrid betrothed to the lycan prince

Its surface rippled gently, creating a melodic, otherworldly symphony. As the crew gathered at the edge of the lake, Fenrir beamed with pride. "Welcome to the Lake of Reflection," he announced, his voice filled with reverence. "This is the most beautiful and sacred place in our realm." The Lake of Reflection held a unique power. Legends whispered that those who gazed upon its tranquil waters could see not only their own reflections but also their innermost desires and fears. It was a place of introspection and revelation, where the soul bared itself to those willing to look deep within.

The Dragon's Lost Phoenix Princess

I gasp at the sight. “Wow! Look at that.” My mouth is gaping as I look at the majestic beauty of this. The lake at the top that filters down looks like lava. The surface is golden, with swirls of red and pale oranges. I look down at the spring below and realise it must be the lake up here that is corrupted.

Marked By The Cursed Alpha Prince

Marked By The Cursed Alpha Prince

Sir Gregory, poor man, looked like he wanted to sink into the floor. But I didn’t need anyone’s supervision. I was an adult woman, fully capable of managing my own decisions, even if some of them were, according to Rosie, “of a unique and slightly chaotic nature.” “Which lake did you buy?” Lucian asked eventually, sounding exhausted by the conversation already. “It’s called Seven Blossoms,” I answered proudly. “On Long Tunnel Road.” His face darkened. “You purchased the Rotten Lake?” “It is dirty now,” I replied with a bright smile, “but once I clean it, it will be extremely valuable. I plan to connect a water channel from the lake directly to the mansion. We will have free water forever. Is

Valerie

Valerie

I cried in the lake because it'd hidden my tears from a cruel world. "They shimmered in the lake, like rare diamonds, tempting me to snatch one to cherish it forever," he murmurs, catching a single tear rolling off my face as I watch him silently. "Y-You don't think it's weak?" I ask, finally holding his intense pale gaze.

This book is amazing! Your writing style is so beautiful. The idea that Valerie and Nia are separate "characters" is so unique. Valerie's strength is shown through out the novel, I can't wait to read on and find out more about the Lycan King. Highly recommend, well done author! 🔥🤩🤗❤
Aria Dean
I was caught by the scene the most where Valerie and Nia got separated. I felt sad on that part. Anyway, I love the way you write your story. This book is thumbs up and has a very nice plot. Keep up the good work! P.s. Don't ever separate V & N from each other.
