The car screeched to a halt at the harbor. Barrett leaped onto a private speedboat, taking the wheel as he slammed the throttle into the roaring storm. Waves violently battered the hull, threatening to capsize the small vessel, but he didn't flinch. Only one thought burned through his panic. "Octavia, hold on. I'm coming." I woke up to a bone-chilling cold. The tide kept shoving my body onto the rocky shore, only to drag me right back out into the freezing water.

Lorien’s POV The storm wasn’t letting up. I stood at the edge of the large window, watching the heavy downpour with narrowed eyes. Rain lashed against the glass, blurring the view outside. Thick, dark clouds churned across the sky, and the occasional crack of lightning illuminated the wet landscape. The weather had taken a turn for the worse, and I knew there was no way I’d be flying out tonight. Even if I wanted to risk it, I needed clear skies to navigate.

“Grr… what an unlucky day!!” Andrea cursed as she drove her motorcycle. It was raining cats and dogs due to heavy thunderstorm. She went outside to deliver her customers’ orders and she didn’t expect that she’ll finish it so late. It was reported in the news that there would be a tropical storm, so she delivered her goods as quickly as she could, but she didn’t ever think that the tropical storm would catch her at any moment. She speedily drove her motorcycle because she already felt the coldness on her back down to her spine when suddenly…

She crawled to the edge of her tent and flung the poor creature out of the opening and into the storm.
