"You're doing great!" Lana grinned at everyone, waving. She looked around the stage area, spotting people talking to one another as they waited for the concert to begin. A few other staff came up and welcomed her and congratulated her. "You ready?" Lucas asked with a smirk. Lana nodded her head, "Yes." The stepped on stage and she heard the fans applauding louder. "Alright everybody, the moment we've all been waiting for it now. Welcome, our very own Goddess, Lily Xuan!"

I felt something shift deep in my chest. Who would have thought that Aria…soft-spoken, observant Aria…would be the one to steady the room when it threatened to turn on us? I tightened my arm slightly around her waist, just got the show. Yes she looks azing in the dress but she is still a lowky omega, a substitute.. giving me more time to search for my true Luna. “Time?” my mother echoed, disbelief sharpening her tone. “There isn’t much time, Kieran. I want to carry your pups while I still can.”

Her voice trembled as she recalled her earlier conversation with Caroline. “Wait, did I really ask you about a baby? What baby was I even talking about?” Caroline smirked, her lips curling in playful mockery. “Oh, I have no clue! I was just trying to comfort you since you looked like a drenched chicken out here.” Lana's cheeks turned a bright shade of red as she hurled a pillow at Caroline. "Seriously? Watch it! I was just having the weirdest dream, alright?" Caroline dodged the pillow with a giggle and cozied up under the blankets.

He glanced briefly at Max, smiled, and then leaned into me. “You’re ours,” he whispered, nuzzling my neck. I flinched, focusing on my breathing, wishing my body wasn’t responding to him in the way that it was. “You’re ours, sweet girl, so you’d better not let anyone else touch the honey.” He lowered his voice, breath warm in my ear. “Got it?” “Fuck you.” “Name a time and place, kitten.” Before I could respond, Max spoke up. “No harm done, Keane.” He put his hands in the air as if to surrender. “I was just trying to be friendly.”

The sound of the door made me divert my eyes to it, and I watched a doctor with a smiling face walking in. "Young Luna is finally awake," he said as he began approaching me. "Good day, Luna," he greeted, and bowed, while I cautiously stared at him. "I'm Doctor Declan, and I'm here to check on you," he said when he reached my bed, but I didn't say anything and kept staring at him. "Could you please lie down, you're not supposed to sit now," he said calmly, and I slowly nodded my head, before lying down on the bed, but winced when I felt the same pain again.

André also nodded like he was in on it too and I couldn’t help but wonder what they wanted to show me or what it was about. I followed them, as she pushed open some glass doors and we walked into a huge garden. More like a field but still a beautiful garden. It was that beautiful. Suddenly, I started hearing whispers which made me stare at where they were coming from. It was like the voices of women, talking about something, in a quiet voice, in a language I couldn’t understand. “Luna!” I was plunged back to reality, I saw the four of them staring at me worried, my baby brother’s brown eyes being one of them which made me smile.

“No… I don’t but I also don’t portal around everywhere either nor do I travel with the moon goddess on the regular” She chuckles, “Oh Leonard… what name should we use for me?”. We pause in our steps. “First off, no one in this century calls me Leonard, just Lee. Let’s call you Selena”. Looking her over once more… she looks just like Emma… it’s uncanny. Mid height, slender, long brunette hair with bright emerald eyes.

We all shuffled off the stage to the seats that we left empty for us with our families and friends. "Usually, we would have a pack run right about now to welcome our new members, but I also need to present to you your new Luna." Whispers started fluttering through the crowd like a wave. "I accept the role as your Luna, Tyler." A girl stood up at the back of the crowd and made her way down the aisle. She had bleached blonde hair, tanned skin and brown eyes. She had the body of a supermodel and her clothes left little to the imagination.

Zoe has dark hair, eyes the color of the ocean, and a curvy frame. I place my cup inside the kitchen sink and follow her out of the apartment’s door. Just as I’m sliding into the front seat of the car, Lana’s cell phone rings. She looks at the screen and smiles. “It’s Zoe.” “Answer it and put it on speaker,” I reply as I steer the car out of its parking space. “Hey,” Lana answers. Zoe’s excited squeak echoes through the receiver. “I’m so excited for you, Lala!”
