“This is Lyra Veyra Kane. She is the new Luna of Ironclaw.” Gasps immediately went on and on in the pack as we walked in. The ground felt like it dropped under me as my breath caught that instant and my body froze. Luna?! The word rang in my head like a blow. Intentionally, I let my shoes hit the floors in a loud manner while I make my way to the king sized bed as to gain his attention. But much to my demise, the frame on the bed remains unmoving. "Greetings, your majesty, the Lycan King. I, the Luna of Lumina would like to have a word with you." Even at my introduction, I got nothing as a result. His breathing remains calm and undisturbed. "You could easily be killed this way, your highness." I whispered while making my way closer to the left of the bedside. I couldn't get a clear view of his face since he's facing the balcony windows and once I did, I stopped dead on my tracks.

I looked up from the floor and saw the beautiful brunette from the pictures. "Luna, this is Channing. She has just joined the pack," Allen announced. I saw her nod, then they both kinda zoned out. Probably mind linking. She gasped and quickly kneeled down to me. "What are you doing Lainee?" I heard a muffled voice in the room question. Luna, or Lainee stood up. "I'm kneeling before a warrior wolf. The Alpha of the Black Moon Warriors," she replied awestruck. Before I could even say anything a girl with black hair like Allen's popped out of the room looked at me before bowing like her Luna.

She then retrieved a voice changer device she had on hand. "Could everyone please step out for a moment? I'm here, and I'll examine Mr. Kane's condition," Lana said. Her tone mirrored that of Dr. Michael, the physician familiar to Liam. With Lana present, Violet felt reassured. She quickly left the room with the others, leaving only Liam and Lana behind. "Dr. Michael?" Liam's voice sounded confused. "What are you doing here?" "Let me explain, Mr. Kane," Lana said, "You haven't been feeling well, so Madam Violet asked me to come over and check on you."

The one named Lana had wavy blonde hair and honey brown eyes while the dark brown lycan female named Alex, had auburn hair and green eyes. Her auburn hair suddenly reminded me of the girl I saw with Nox and I began to feel that horrible anger rise up in me. I immediately turn my back on them just in case my eyes go dark again.
