All stood outside of the cave looking at it. "Don't get scared there are two Dragons inside it. If you show them your locket they won't attack you." Lana told Stella and she nodded in an understanding way. "Okay, I'm ready," Stella said confidently but from inside she was shaking badly. Her heart was beating so fast that it seemed it would come out at any moment.

Lana said, picking up a basket and heading down the aisle. The women shopped some more, giggling at nothing in particular and picking up ingredients to make a fresh pesto, along with some bread and a couple bottles of wine. As they walked back to Lana's place loaded down with their loot, she couldn’t stop smiling. She had thoroughly enjoyed herself. She had so missed the companionship of another female. Xyrus was great, but Tina brought something else to her life. As they walked up the stairs to her apartment, Lana got a sudden icy chill down her spine. She stopped walking and turned around, her eyes scanning the parking lot, looking for Danny.

I declared aloud to the picture in-front of me. "I just wish I could see you both once more. To tell you how much I love you, to thank you for always encouraging me to be whatever I wanted to be. You weren't just my alpha and Luna, my mother and father, you were my role models. I'm so sorry you're not here to see us turn this world into a better place." My words had turned into all but a whisper as I looked down at my feet, planted firmly on the oak laminate.

On closer inspection, she noticed that it was in the shape of a crescent moon. Lana went into a room and opened a trunk. Ever hopeful of being able to carry a child she had made a few baby things including blankets. As time went on, her hope had disappeared but she could not give away the things she had made. She took out a blue blanket she had knitted and gave it a good shake inspecting that it was fit for its purpose. She then gently move the baby from the jacket to the blanket and wrapped the child in the blanket. The baby protested and opened her eyes. Lana gasped when she saw that the eyes were purple. She suddenly felt love swell in her heart and knew that this babe was her daughter.

Seeing her so bubbly makes me so happy. “What were you trying to win?”. She points to the little duck stuffed animals. Not to be a show off but what my Luna wants, she gets. Lana’s breath caught audibly. Ethan’s shoulders relaxed a little. “I found a really cool one,” he said, holding out a spiral shell. “See?” I took it, turning it over in my palm. “That is cool. You know, these are like tiny houses for sea creatures.” “Really?” His eyes lit up. “Yeah. They carry them everywhere.” He considered that. “That’s kinda like us.” Something twisted deep in my chest. “Yeah,” I said hoarsely. “It is.”
