Crash Landed on love

Crash Landed on love

They were face down in the sand, eyes open and blood splattered on their faces. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I continued to search for Ria's mother because she wouldn't stop crying. There were at least twenty bodies on the sand, but none of them belonged to Ria's mother. "What should I do?" I sobbed and clutched Ria's body. The plane had crashed into an island and split in half. I had no idea how I had survived without dying, but I knew I couldn't be the only survivor, so I walked back into the plane in search of Ria's mother and possibly other survivors.

THE SILENT LUNA’S REVENGE

THE SILENT LUNA’S REVENGE

Darkness. Cold, suffocating darkness. The sound of roaring rock and shattering cliff sides faded into a terrifying silence. The air was thick with fine stone dust that rasped against the back of my throat, making me cough weakly. Heavy weight pressed down on every side, trapping us in a tiny, cramped pocket of space beneath the rubble. I was on my side in the freezing dirt, my body untouched by the falling debris. Julian was collapsed directly over me, his massive frame forming a human shield. Heavy stone slabs rested hard against his back and shoulders, bearing the full, crushing weight of the landslide.

Song of the Winter Solstice

Song of the Winter Solstice

The clattering resonance of the rock dominus reverberated in my ears as it charged forward, meticulously tracing The Miss's elusive path. The dominus tenaciously followed the lingering scent of Lady Montay, unyielding in its pursuit. No matter where she attempted to conceal herself, I was resolute in my relentless pursuit. From the Meridio base, the cacophonous clash of powers reached my ears. The collision of rocks, the fracturing of the ground as if struck by titanic forces, sporadic explosions rupturing the silence, and anguished cries rending the uneasy tranquility of Mors.

Model Perfect

Model Perfect

I turn off the live stream and let Hunter finish his song for me. She's my girl, the girl with the brightest eyes, The reason there's summer fireflies, She's my girl, the beauty of my whole world, She's my girl... The song ends, and I find myself blushing. Then I see Arlo in the distance, and the world goes quiet. But, seeing him in real life again makes me feel panicky, the way Rosa gets for Jeremiah. Arlo walks towards me as Hunter begins another speech, "Ladies and gents, for our final song. But, first, I will sing our newest song, called Tidal Wave."

A WRAITH'S TOUCH

A WRAITH'S TOUCH

Sashi started the song while closing her eyes dramatically. "No, I won't be afraid No, I won't be afraid Just as long as you stand, stand by me And darling, darling stand by me " Clark stiffened because of how the way Sashi sang the song. It seems like he's been hearing this song ever since. "Oh, now, now, stand by me Stand by me, stand by me If the sky that we look upon Should tumble and fall And the mountain should crumble to the sea I won't cry, I won't cry

Phoenix Cry

Phoenix Cry

Since he lives far away from the mountains, of course, he wouldn't know what to do when there is a landslide bound to happen. He did as I ordered and summoned his wings, and flew high. I was about to follow but the land started breaking and then collapsed. I was caught in the landslide, this is certainly not good. I was summoning my wings but my back met the ground and was hit hard. I groaned in pain, still tried my best on summoning my wings. I won't die because of a stupid landslide. I won't die. I created a stronger barrier around me and then let myself get buried underneath the ground, but before that, I heard someone screaming my name, I looked up and smiled at him. And there I was, bur

Tropical Storms, Tropical Heat

Tropical Storms, Tropical Heat

The guardrail ahead sagged at a crooked angle, beckoning him forward like a deathly invitation or a trap. There. Was. No. Time. To. Stop. If he braked hard, he would slide. If he swerved left too sharply, he would overcorrect into the mountain wall. He calculated in a breath. Miguel accelerated. The engine roared, tires gripping what little solid ground remained. He aimed for the sliver of intact pavement hugging the inside rock face. The landslide continued even as he watched—mud shearing away, gravel cascading like marbles beneath him.

Pride and Promises

Pride and Promises

Addie and Eve~ for the rest of time. It was so cliché yet so typically Adrian that I felt as if I was a high schooler getting my first gift from my crush. Feeling silly yet happy at the same time, I focused my attention back to the dancing figurines, absorbing the familiar words of the song- as if hearing it for the first time, as if the song was made for me, by him. If the sky, that we look upon, should tumble and fall Or the mountains, should crumble, to the sea

Magisch Academy: The Heartless Princess

When Akisha started singing, everyone fell silent in shock, even me. I didn't even know she knew how to sing. All I know is that she is good at playing musical instruments. "Here comes a wave Meant to wash me away A tide that is taking me under Swallowing sand Left with nothing to say My voice drowned out in the thunder But I won't cry And I won't start to crumble Whenever they try To shut me or cut me down

Troubled Heart

Troubled Heart

My ears drooped slightly, disappointed she’d ended the sweet serenade. “Oh, God,” Lilac whispered, covering her mouth, mortified. “I—I didn’t realize I was singing out loud. I’m sorry.” Makayla smiled gently, her voice warm and reassuring. “Don’t stop. You have a beautiful voice.” Lilac glanced shyly down, a hesitant smile returning. “I just...really love this song.” “Me too,” Makayla murmured warmly, shifting closer beneath the blanket. “It’s called ‘Moonlight Glow.’ The lead singer, Landon Bryant, is my mom’s cousin. I grew up hearing it.”

Bryant truly is such a gifted writer. This is another great story that is absolutely worth a read! Loved the characters/their personalities and the differences they brought to the table that balanced each other out beautifully. As always author - job well done! Cant wait for more from you :)

Great read. As always, Author Bryant keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just enough spice to be spicy but not too much. I love that everything Bryant puts in her books has a purpose. There isn’t a spicy scene just to have one. Everything builds for the storyline and characters. Another 5 star.
