Ash turns cautiously. Five people emerge calmly from the tall grass. At the very front, a red-haired young man walks toward us while casually spinning a small flame in his palm. His sharp eyes lock onto our team. “Well, look who’s crawling around on the ground like worms,” the young man says mockingly. Damian grits his teeth. “Loki. Why does it have to be you, asshole?” The young man, Loki, laughs sarcastically. He snaps his fingers, and a wall of fire rises around us, making the prehistoric birds hesitate to attack again.

She walked closer to the sink, opening it and washing her hands. "I have to wash my hands because of your filthy skin." She sneered. "Open your eyes Kayla, the only filthy thing here is you." I spat out. "You are just jealous, Laila. because when I'm done, I will be the one standing beside him as Luna, and together we will rule this pack together." She said, "You being Luna?" I heard Kieran scoff coming close to us. "Well, maybe in your afterlife."

he jokes. “She’s not my girlfriend,” I begin, but Mia interrupts “Willow bark poisoning?” Mia says loudly and I nod, as Loki comes toward us, standing on the other side of Finn. “You two will have to let me go,” he says, looking at each of us. “That means, Loki that you will be the new Beta and will need to learn how to listen,” he jokes. “And Kane, you will need to be patient with him,” he begins, but a fire lights behind us, startling us all.

The Lycan Enforcer~ ~Annabeth’s POV~ The air around me felt heavy, charged with a static electricity that made the fine hairs on my arms stand up. I looked at the Lycan Enforcer, Kael, and for a split second, I saw death. The first couple of days after Dakota's emergence as the Solar Lycan Queen had been non-stop meetings with Werewolf Pack Alphas, along with everyone from the Pack wanting to meet their new Luna everywhere I went. I didn't know everything about the wolf world but I've stayed long enough to know that there is a system of hierarchy that is way more strict than the human world. The only set of wolves higher than an alpha is the royal family, they have lived for ages and unlike normal wolves, they do not age. The royal family are the first set of wolves the moon goddess ever made, their history goes way beyond civilization. They rule the wolf world with power and they are referred to as lycans, the current lycan king is Jacobi thoryan. The pack females love to gossip about him and daydream about being his mate.
