* * * * Laura's POV: I sat in the corner of the dimly lit room, my hands tied behind my back and my heart pounding in my chest. It hadn't been long since I was suddenly brought out of my room, blindfolded and dragged all the way to this new place. Where was I? I had no idea but Jerry had walked in with a laptop. He didn't say anything to me but instead sat down beside me and opened his laptop. There and there, he FaceTime Reiner. I was so happy to see Reiner. It made me almost scream with joy but then again I saw Clair. Then Jerry gave an order for Reiner to kiss Clair.

“I don’t.” But Laura kept advancing. One step for every step I retreated and her smile only widened. “Do you know how Clarke died?” My entire body went cold. My wolf froze completely. I stared at her. “You killed him?” Laura laughed. “I sure did.” She spoke with no hesitation, no guilt, nothing. “The idiot couldn’t keep his mouth shut,” she said casually. “He told you things he wasn’t supposed to.” My stomach twisted violently. “I wasn’t planning to kill him at first,” Laura continued lightly, almost bored. “But eventually I realized something.” Her eyes darkened. “The only people who can truly keep secrets... are dead ones.”

"What are you doing?" "Erh. Claire. I..how are you? What are you doing so late?" She stuttered. "I should be asking you why you're coming in so late ma'am. You left us alone. We were worried about you" I said. "The Library was locked, I had to wait a bit" she responded. "I am sorry if I kept you waiting," she said. She looked into her bag and brought out two books: Beyond Pardon by Bertha Clay and The Day of The Jackal by Frederick Forsyth. "These books would make my week, I had to wait to get them" she curved a quick smile.

As if Clara knew what I was trying to say she stood up, “Yes Kellina they pull your hair down so it is flowing so there are no restrictions for your wolf to come out into this world, or at least that’s what they say.” “Clara if she does that?” “Kellina, I’m not sure of much of anything. I’m not sure if I know what I’m doing on any given day but here is what I know, Laura is one of the smartest and most cunning priestesses that I have ever seen and she has your back without any doubt in my mind. She will figure something out.” She squeezed my arms reassuringly.

“Cy. Cy! Come here!” Speeding up his walk, he ended up sitting beside his friend as well. Then she showed him the book in her hand. “What is that?” Hera licked her lips before answering the query. “I saw this book in one of the stacks that the club was giving the freshmen.” “You liked it?” “No, it’s not because of that,” Hera answered. “It was written by a student from this school.” Learning that information, Cyril got a little interested in the book. Not because it was written by a student from the school but because the title seemed to be hiding something about the writer.

Laura said, “Don't worry, I'm upto the task, I will Invite the devil that lives In me out because of them, though, I have dropped all the dirty attitude when I met you, but please let those girls see my true colors, let me give them their size, and I want to put them In their place, and we will be free forever” Clifton explained, “Please, babe, don't go, they might be dangerous” Laura said, “Don't worry, I know what they want, let me put them In their corner” Clifton said,

Claire pretending to comfort Laura while constantly watching everybody else. Still, I struggled to fully believe it. Ethan looked unconvinced too. "That’s a serious accusation." "I know," Nick replied. "But think about it. She always knew where everyone was. She’s close enough to Laura to hear personal information, and she hangs around enough people in our circle to spread it." My mind started replaying old conversations instantly. Tiny things I ignored before suddenly felt strange now. "At the party after finals," I said slowly, "Claire asked me if something was going on between me and you."

He agreed immediately. *** On the second day, Claire found two red books titled "Chemistry in Everyday Products." The books were locked in a glass box. Claire realized they might be valuable. However, she could not resist her desire to read them. Claire looked at the old woman guarding the library, wanting to ask if she could read them for a moment. After seeing the old woman looking back, Claire lost her courage and turned back to her seat to continue working on her assignment. The next day, Claire found the glass box already open.

The scene immediately froze. Master Centipede picked the photo up and looked at Laura in the photo. His eyes narrowed slightly, hoping that things would not be what he thought. “Kerry, what is this?” Kerry still tried to quibble, “That’s Laura’s photo. I took it for her before.” “Okay.” Master Centipede extended his hand to Kerry. “Give me what you were looking at just now.” “Godfather…” “Give me!” Kerry was frightened. He slowly extended his hand and handed the little blue book into the Master Centipede’s hand.

He nodded at David, who nodded back. Dorma and Varg walked past Claire, giving her an odd look she found baffling but shrugged off. As soon as they left the room, Claire and Maurice exploded. “We got it,” said Claire. “We got the manual,” said Maurice. He flashed us a glimpse of what was under his jacket. It was a red, leather-bound book. “Yeah,” Claire reconfirmed. “We got the manual.” “No problems,” said Maurice. “In and out. Mission accomplished.” “You doubted us,” said Claire, pointing a triumphant finger at me. “You were wrong! Secret agents, bitch.”
