Devil's Dark

Devil's Dark

The light shakes unsteadily occasionally pointing towards the approaching foot, one that Laurel realizes belongs to Jeremy. Laurel sits up straight immediately, “Jeremy?” her voice seems to have awaken the rest of the girls as they all begin to sit up one after the other. “Put this on and come with me,” Jeremy says coldly, keeping his flashlight on her for a moment then points it away towards the other girls. Laurel briskly pull on the white gown against her slender body, ignoring the buzzing pain as she stretches her hand and as the fabric brushes against her sore skin. She reaches to her feet, and Jeremy takes her hand striding out as fast as he came in.

From reading the short-but-precise blurb alone, I can see that you've got an ah-mazing story line there ✨ I've added it to my library and I'mma start as soon as I can. Keep up the good work, author! ✨

When I start reading a chapter, I'm afraid to reach the end of that chapter because I am not sure I can handle the suspense and/or cliffhangers. But do I stop reading? No. That's what a good book does to you.

Second Light

Second Light

"I do love you, but I'm not dumb. There are so many ways to get someone their citizenship. Why did you choose this way?” "Eric, I'll just think of our time together as wasted years of youth. Please leave and don't bother me again." "Alright! Wendy, you'll regret this! I'll see you at the County Clerk's office in three days!" After he walked away, I pulled out the first-aid kit and gently took care of the scrapes on Thomas's hand. "Mr. Lloyd, I really appreciate you helping me earlier. I owe you one." He let out a small huff, "You owe me more than just that."

Reclaiming my Fated Alpha

Reclaiming my Fated Alpha

The sound is very specific, it is the snap of a switchblade. “I brought you a toy, Laurel. Do you want to see it?” He does not wait for me to answer. Marty pulls out a tiny torchlight from his pocket and turns it on, effectively lighting up the room. And I see it, the shiny blade in his hand. He grins at me and licks the tip of the blade. “I cut my victims with this…would you like to try?” Though my knees threaten to crumble under my weight, I harden my voice at him, “I am Laurel Moon of Morningstar and I have dealt with scum like you before. I will end your miserable existence and purge your pack of all the sins and dirt you have covered it with.”

Dear readers, There will be no updates next week as I will be editing the free chapters as well as correcting the grammatical and spelling errors throughout the story. Please bear with me as I work on improving 'Reclaiming my Fated Alpha’ to make the story even more enjoyable for you :)

Definitely one of the better books on here. It’s well written with minimal errors. There were so many climaxes and conflicts that could have easily been made into plots of second and third books. Only thing I disliked was that the MC was mostly weak through out the story especially for being a Beta.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Glass shattered upstairs. Peanut screamed. Lily grabbed her. The lights flickered. Then died. Darkness swallowed everything. Outside— the voice laughed again. And far beyond the shoreline— the tower's blue light suddenly flared brighter than ever before. As if something inside it had just awakened. To Be Continued...

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Marked From Birth

Marked From Birth

"The Marsh! It’s moving!" They ran to the ramparts. In the distance, the horizon was no longer dark. A massive wave of green light was rolling across the plains, traveling toward the mountain. Where it passed, the ground erupted in flowers, and the air turned sweet. But it was moving with the force of a tidal wave. "He's coming home," Audrey realized. "Who?" Lucas asked, his silver hand beginning to glow with a defensive light. "The Heir of the Origin," Audrey said. As the green light hit the base of the mountain, the World-Oak let out a sound like a Great Bell. The branches bowed down, touching the earth in a gesture of absolute submission.

THE CURSED ONE

Shiela cheered proudly. They laughed “I just know the lights will go off in 3…2…-“ Shiela said The lights went out at exactly 21:00 They laughed again and went to bed. Later that same night. The Ancient marking. The Mark of Elara shimmered faintly on her abdomen, pulsing softly like a heartbeat, then dimmed out. ——— 2:24 am Laura was up. Laura sat on the bed feeling off. Everything felt… too sharp. Her ears twitched. She could hear water dripping outside the building. She gasped.

Second Chance For The Broken Luna

Second Chance For The Broken Luna

The decision had been made, and there was no turning back now. When I reached the bottom of the stairs, the murmurs quieted. Laurel stood near the entrance to the ceremonial grounds, resplendent in her crimson gown, the same color as my jacket. She looked every bit the Luna she was about to become—strong, regal, and utterly confident. She smiled when she saw me, but it didn’t reach her eyes. I returned the gesture, my own smile equally empty. “Shall we?” I asked, holding out my hand to her.

They Hated My Departure

They Hated My Departure

“What’s wrong with that? I just wanted you to learn how to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. Had I not put you through all that hardship, would you even have had the chance to come back home today? Also, Cameron is hosting a charity event tonight. You must come with us so that other people will believe that Cameron isn’t the son of a kidnapper.” Laurel added in a generous tone, “Haven’t you always wanted a wedding? Once you help Cameron have a daughter, I’ll give you a grand one.” This was the promise Laurel had made to me under the moonlight. It had become bait to trap me. A countdown flashed before my eyes. [12 hours.] I lowered my gaze and suppressed the surging hatred. When I looked

Moonlit Magic

Moonlit Magic

The girls had chosen this spot for its energy—a natural convergence point where the earth’s magic pooled like water. Freda lit the black candles with a whispered word, their flames burning unnaturally blue. Pru scattered a circle of salt mixed with crushed obsidian, the grains glittering like crushed stars. Rita laid out the parchment—yellowed with age, borrowed from Gogo’s private stash—and the silver dagger, its blade etched with runes. "Ready?" Freda asked. Rita nodded. Pru grinned.
