Fun of a Lifetime

Fun of a Lifetime

Normalcy. Life with the Harsányis troupe was none of those things. He’d finally done his own running away at fifteen. Run away from the circus. How ironic was that? Gotten himself declared an emancipated minor, changed his name, and worked his way through school, planning for the day when he could have a normal life. He was so close. Partner in a venture capital firm that was on the cutting edge of green technology—life expe-riences providing as much of that education as college courses—judicious spending practices, friends, vaca-tions, retirement accounts…

New Year New Life

New Year New Life

She got up and gave me a hug. "It's all over. Live for yourself from now on." It was something so simple, even an outsider understood. And yet, it had taken me six whole years to finally wake up. Fortunately, it still wasn't too late.

A LIFETIME TOGETHER

A LIFETIME TOGETHER

Amelia muttered and Shirley scoffed, her gaze on Amelia turning to a glare. "To you, it might be that easy, after all, you are not even a real student but I am and I cannot be reckless or take my studies unseriously," Shirley said. "Yeah I know that story Nation's Fairy slash Supermodel slash Heiress of C-Perfect Fashion Label, don't you have just the perfect life?" Amelia taunted. "And what is that even supposed to mean?" Shirley asked. "Trust me, if you lose control and you will if you don't master control of your wolf side, the perfect life you have worked so hard to build will come crumbling down to dust," Amelia blurted out.

To live before dying

To live before dying

He rubbed at his temple, wincing as the dull throb at the base of his skull returned—stronger this time. He hated that pain. It was the only thing lately that reminded him he was still alive. Nathan stood, moving toward the window. The city glittered below—bright, noisy, full of life he couldn’t feel. Neon lights painted his reflection across the glass: tousled hair, tired eyes, perfection sculpted by fame but filled by exhaustion. He tapped his cigarette against the railing, watching the ashes scatter like snow. “Another night,” he murmured, “another stranger.” His phone buzzed on the table. A message from his manager:

Caught In The CEO's Sweet Trap

Caught In The CEO's Sweet Trap

Sophia and her husband had sneaked away, and Alice had been taken home by her driver. At the table, it was only Caspian, me, and the elderly people who looked like they still wanted to chat for a little while longer. “You’re twenty-six, right?” Caspian asked. “And what has my age got to do with anything?” I asked back, my eyebrows furrowing. “You’re so young, yet you live like an old woman. Go out, have fun. Let loose… You live every day and only die once. But even though you live every day, it’s only for a short while. Enjoy it while it lasts.”

This book is incomplete, however, I’m still giving it 5 stars. This book is great and the author is a tremendously talented writer. This is the seventh book I’ve read that she has published on GN. I see her growth and I look forward to reading more of her work.

Thoroughly enjoyed this story, though felt like there could’ve been more of a storyline for the supporting characters love story… it definitely felt rushed! But overall definitely would recommend this book, lots of twists & plenty of action!

Diving into a pool full of horse shit is way better than having memories of someone you never made up with. Life is a fucking whore, but it never gives you a good fuck. Anyways, let’s begin today’s confession. LIFE IS HARD THEN YOU DIE THEN THEY THROW DIRT IN YOUR FACE THEN THE WORMS EAT YOU BE GRATEFUL IT HAPPENS IN THAT ORDER  DAVID GERROLD

I have to say, this is an excellent read, right from the first chapter it just grasps you. I know it isn't comedy but the choice of words just had me giggling. I just know it's about to get intense. If you're wandering whether to read it or not, take it from me, you must! You won't regret it!

I love the dark part of this story. It's touchy and realistic. Even though I just read the first chapter, I felt every meaningful touch and idea the author wanted to pass through. I'm so impressed and I definitely love this. Keep it up, writer.

Rejected by My Mate, Captured by a Dominating Lycan King

Rejected by My Mate, Captured by a Dominating Lycan King

I muttered, earning a tired laugh from her. “Livana Isole Liveshade,” she said, using my full name now. “It’s your last day of school and your birthday. You are going.” Birthday. The thought pushed through the fog in my head. Eighteen. The age where everything was supposed to make sense, the age you met your mate, and the age people stopped looking at you like you were unfinished. I wanted all of that. Nothing dramatic. Nothing complicated. Just something normal. But thinking about it this early in the morning felt exhausting, so I rolled over again.

My Vampire Professor

My Vampire Professor

“Why is that?” “Lisa has a loose mouth,” Joseph said in return with an eye roll. “Sorry if I said too much,” I said, lowering my gaze. “I don’t think she meant any harm in it. She was just surprised you brought me to the headquarters.” “They die,” he said, shaking his head slowly. “Humans have a very short life and it’s fragile. They die easily and when I’m immortal and don’t die as easily, it gets morbid. I used to have a lot of friends, but they are no longer around. “

A Lifeline Cut by My Family

A Lifeline Cut by My Family

I drove my car to a friend's auto repair shop for a routine inspection after my father, Nathan Ashley, finally returned it. He'd borrowed it for a month and even stuffed the trunk with boxes of local specialties from his hometown. A few minutes later, my friend slid out from beneath the car, his face drained of color. "Lyla, who did you piss off? Someone cut halfway through your brake line." A chill raced through my body as I pulled out my phone and called my father. "Dad, someone cut my brake line." The sound of poker chips clacking echoed through the phone. He answered without the slightest concern, "Oh. I had Lillian do it. That old junker of yours was falling apart anyway." My voice
