Raising her head, she saw a lady standing on the sunshade of a window on the third floor of the building. The lady, who seemed like an assassin, was dressed in entirely black leather clothes, covering her hand with black gloves. Like Shadow, she also wore a mask covering her entire face. But the only difference was, her mask had a glittery spider symbol drawn near her eyes on both sides. Her dark brown hair was tied into a long dutch braid, hanging just below the mid part of her back. Her round yet sharp eyes gazed at the assassin. "Spider?!" Shadow exclaimed as soon as she recognized the person. That was when Shadow met her equal for the first time.

It is the New year's party organised by the Willows annually and they invite both clans to attend. This is our opportunity to finally get them to our side before Helena does. For half an hour I have been trying to get the dress to fit and finally with a lot of energy and curses, the dress is in place. Dahlia chose this dress for me which is a mid-thigh skinny leather dress. Looking at my reflection in the mirror, I look like a seductress with my long dark locks flowing down my head and the hot red lipstick. The dark eye shadow and mascara outlining my eyes give me the most alluring look.

Selina's POV I didn't have time to complain about Luka's sudden change of heart. If I were going to be the perfect Luna for the Shadow Fang Pack's gala, I was going to do it on my terms. Midnight black velvet clung to her frame, slit dangerously high on one side, the neckline daring, sharp as a blade. Considering that the outfit had cost her less than fifteen dollars—not counting the boots, which she already owned—she certainly couldn’t complain.
