"Kill her! I order you all!" The warriors exchanged a fierce glance, their silent understanding clear in the air. Finally, one of them stepped forward and planted itself firmly behind me. "At last, a leader has arrived! We hereby proclaim Luna Daphne, along with Alpha Calle of the Blood Moon Pack!" Their voices boomed in unison, echoing through the valley in a wave of determination.

I ran to his side. “Don’t touch those things! Kill them however you can, but for fuck's sake do not let them scratch or bite you!” I looked around for Crimson, watching for more of these creatures.
