She told her everything—the shouting, the grabbing, the fear in Noah’s eyes, the pain in his voice. When she was done, Cassandra closed her eyes and breathed deeply.

“That’s… ambitious.” Celeste smiled. “So were you.” They spent the next hour brainstorming. Leah took notes furiously—ideas for curriculum, outreach strategies, funding models.
