Over the past three days, Leah's name had spread even faster than mine. Stories surrounded her. Absurd stories. Impossible stories. Some claimed she commanded the moon itself. Others claimed she had survived divine fire. A merchant from the western valleys swore he had witnessed silver light descend from heaven during our battle. One elderly wolf had arrived yesterday convinced that Leah was the Moon Goddess reborn. Madness. Complete madness. And yet... After witnessing what happened on that battlefield. After seeing the skies split apart. After seeing silver and gold consume the heavens when I kissed her. Even I no longer knew where myths ended and truth began.

William opened his mouth to say something, but she wouldn't let him speak. "You talk so bravely, but I know you won't be able to stand against the woman who birthed us! She wanted to see the look on William's face, and she wasn't disappointed. He was dumbstruck… simply left for forwards.

You got the chance to go on a trip while I on the other hand got bored in the house because my so-called parents were too busy to give me time for all these vacations." Leah said while turning through the pages of the book in front of her.

Leah stormed into the room where her brother, Austin, sat immersed in his thoughts. Her face twisted with a mixture of excitement and malice as she prepared to share the scandalous gossip she had heard. "Austin, you won't believe what I've just learned," she exclaimed, her voice filled with a triumphant edge. Austin looked up from his reverie, his brow furrowed in curiosity. "What is it, Leah? What has gotten you so worked up?" Leah took a seat across from Austin, a devious smirk playing on her lips. "It's about Liam and that wretched slave, Bloom."

I looked up. "What are you doing here?" I said. "I need a proper ending for my documentary," she said. She was already setting up her gear, and Ms. Never Give Up was back on the action. "What?" I gasped. "But there's not gonna be...I mean, what are you going to record?" "A true leader who leads by her example," she said with a smile. "Wait a minute," I said. "Charlotte..." Whoops, a ball flew at me and I caught it with my glove. I turned to find Olive smiling.

"Chad, at least use some logic when making up a story, okay? Leah is just a loser who fawns over male werewolves all day. What does she know about the pack war? Protecting evidence? She's lucky not to have been tricked into becoming a breeding machine!" She walked to Timothy, affectionately taking his arm. Her tone was utterly sarcastic. "Timothy, don't be fooled by him. Don't you know what kind of werewolf Leah is? All she knows is clinging to you. To say she died protecting the pack is a complete joke! I think she stole this crystal from some random male werewolf, and they couldn't divide it properly. That's why she was dismembered!" Every word she spoke struck Timothy like a hammer.

"I'm coming home. Tell Nico I accept the alliance." Silence held for a beat before his voice dropped into the calm, dangerous register I remembered from closed doors and men who knew better than to waste his time. "When?" "Christmas Eve. Have the papers ready." To Evan, I had always been Leah Moreland, a girl with no family worth mentioning and no one powerful enough to miss her. He had no idea Leah was the name I used when I ran from the Moretti family six years ago. "Are you safe?" my father asked.

Luke got out and shut the door closed. Adrian moved to stand in front of Leah, he held Leah's shoulders with both of his hands, "Leah, through your story you will influence many women in the world! If someone who had been through hells like you could survive, there is no reason for them to give up! Now, pull your shit together and rock the stage!" said him, firmed. Leah breathed out then nodded in approval. She walked with confidence into the studio, where everyone was waiting for her story to be published.

But Leah smiled serenely at the cameras, as if the world were her loyal audience. “I want to clear the air today with full honesty.” My stomach turned. Every time she said the word “honesty,” I wanted to scream. She took a breath, lowered her gaze for dramatic effect, then looked straight at the camera. “There is a woman who has made it her mission to tear this family apart.” I froze. “She manipulated Zane Blackwood,” Leah said, soft and sorrowful. “She preyed on his trauma and vulnerability.” My heart hammered in my chest.

The intensity of her stare demanded the truth, compelling Leah to reveal the truth. Leah knew that she wouldn't be making it out alive if Ashlyn got to know of everything. But of course, at this point, she won't be able to retreat as well. "Well, you know, let's not talk about this anymore. It will only be ruining our mood. I have this new collection of books. The book covers are so lovely. I have been waiting to show them to you for a long time," spoke out Leah with an awkward smile on her face as she tried to change the topic.
